Fox News reported this morning that the Federal Government spent billions of dollars on high end furniture during the Covid shutdown when many employees were on furlough. Leading the list was the Pentagon, the agency famous for buying $500 hammers and johnny seats.

Heading the list of BS purchases was a solar powered picnic table. The report did not get into the uses for this device other than it probably cost a fortune. I guess the excuse is that it’s “environmentally responsible.”

With most Americans living pay check to pay check, this is what the government is doing with your money. In addition, every dime spent on this crap adds to the national debt.
