If they want fox entertainment, they must play by the murdock rules.
The 'ratings' have nothing to do with content and everything to do with availability.

If an ideological spin no longer promises to attract fans amidst significant demographic change, they'll stop pandering to that ilk, change direction, and follow the money.

what you are trying to do is accuse FOX of some type of unsavory practices which are common among all content owners, not just FOX.

At the end of the day, the Fox News numbers blow away CNN and MSNBC.

Fox News is bias when you get to the Hannity and Fox and Friends Shows, but pretty much the rest are balanced. The last thing a Liberal wants is a Fair and Balanced news source.

You picked one day out of the year, which happened to coincide with the State of the Union in an effort to show that CNN and MSNBC were Fox's equals, then cherry picked the results to coincide to a special two-hour timeslot. Look at the top rating. Total Day. Even with special reporting surrounding analysis of the SotU, Fox wins. Pick a random day and Fox crushes CNN and MSNBC. Even their repeat time slots crush the others.

 

Don't feed the troll. Every bar, restaurant, casino, hotel, health club I go into has MSNBC or CNN blaring from their TV sets. If it weren't for commercial/corporate decisions to carry their garbage, CNN and MSNBC wouldn't get half their numbers. Guess what? No one is watching it in any of these places except for a few morons who happen to be in those establishments and have no other life.

Looks like Fox viewership stayed semi felt with small increases while MSNBC had some nice gains.

That is the only reason fox news has the rating that is does and it's losing those viewers which should tell uncle rupert something.
