Your idea got game? Policies are gathering at www.aGREATER.US for the GREATER BOWL of IDEAS for the U.S. held between Flag Day and Independence Day 2012.

U.S. citizens rate the Bills one to five stars, and equal weight is given to fiscal conservatives, social liberals, and independents (both or neither).

The ideas that score the highest (having vast supermajority support) will land a place on the GREATER Platform, and the GREATER BILLS for each State, the Country, and Electoral Reform: To be announced on OUR day of independence from the two party monopoly—GREATER DAY, July 5th.

All winning ideas will be verified as having supermajority support through independent polling. Think of things that Congress can't or won't pass.

This is the birth of the Politics of WHAT—then Who. We will ask the candidates if they support the GREATER Platform, and if they do not we will simply ask—"Just who do you think you represent?"

Please use this forum to pre-caucus your ideas, prepare wiki-documents, competing tactics and strategies. Good luck, and here's to a greater year!

This site needs a lot of work. It should list the wording of the actual bill and also give the pro's and con's of supporting it. This site doesn't inform the visitor that well of the issues at hand.

Thank you for your comments. We're brand new. An open space for ideas to coalesce and compete.

Tom Atlee says aGREATER.US is at the top of an emerging pyramid in participative democracy and only needs people to use it to bring valid results.

I invite forum members to submit ideas/bills/policies and Op-eds on existing ones that would make them, and this great country, well, greater.

The underlying premise is that a vast majority of citizens know how to handle many of the most pressing issues of the day. And we're trying to prove it.

Then, armed with these answers, we treat elected officials like employees instead of them acting like parents in a highly dysfunctional family.

It is a good idea. This is how AARP started you know. One lady thought her grandparents were not being treated well by the government so she started organizing, one person at a time.

Now they are the biggest lobby in Washington so keep up the work.
