I've always said that the carbon tax or ETS is a scam to fleece nations of their wealth by pricing carbon.

Well have a look at how much its going to cost to in accordance with IPCC data to stop the world warming....????

Are you prepared to live with one fifth of what you have right now.......!!!!???????

Lets all pull together and stop this madness based on secret science owned by those who work for the IPCC.

I don't know hardly any scientist with relevant expertise who doesn't see a carbon tax as a critical part of a solution to the impending challenge of AGW. You can start with James Hansen. Cap and trade on the other hand does not seem very effective as it supplies too many escape hatches. I'm not even going to begin to get into the mumbo jumbo of all the numbers this fellow throws around. It seems like a sideshow to me. Most climate scientist think a 2 deg. C rise is perilous and this guy la di da thinks 3 deg. C is just fine. His statement that the Stern Report claims that a 3 deg. rise would cause costs of no more than 3% of GDP frankly I think he pulled out of thin air. Everything I've read projects costs of serious AGW at mucho trillions of dollars.

Perhaps folks would like to get in touch with Nicholas Stern's take on things. He definitely supports a carbon tax and of course there are already carbon taxes in many industrial countries in the world and they haven't caused an economic break down.

When you check out the video characters that follow you can be sure that this is not a place where AGW is going to be seriously addressed and therefore much about its costs.
