The Integrity of X/Twitter and Elon Musk

I will link to a video containing a screenshot of a Musk tweet, but I do not have a link to the tweet itself. Here it is typed out:

The reality of this election was plain to see on X, while most legacy media lied relentlessy to the public.

You are the media now.

Please post your thoughts and observations on X, correct others when wrong and we will have at least one place in the world where you can come to find the truth.

As someone who joined X after Musk took it over, and then got throttled remorselessly over the genocide in Gaza, I can tell you that X is NOT the bastion of free speech and truth he claims it is.

Not only were my posts clearly lessened in visibility, but also I was frequently subjected to BS temporary bans and blocks immediately followed by difficult "Are you a human" checks that 100 percent failed on one browser, prompting me to use a different browser just to get it to work, and not perfectly then either.

And that was in between arguing with some of the most patently dishonest people (or maybe chat bots) I had ever encounted before, especially over Ukraine and Gaza. I have not logged in in months it was so ridiculous.

So my question to you is do you believe Elon Musk when he claims X is a place to find the truth?

Why or why not?

The rot started with Musk, shortly after he purchased X posting the conspiracy theory about Paul Pelosi.

 

That was not a take I was expecting. You are saying Twitter was fine before Musk?

 

I can't wait for him to buy Facebook and then we would see a real meltdown.

Then all of the biased so-called moderators would have to go get a real job like the rest of us.

I got restrictions put on my account for discussing perfectly legal medicinal mushrooms and they said that I was " promoting buying or selling dangerous drugs or illegal substances "

So I started reporting all of the ads I see on Facebook where they are selling schedule one controlled substances and Facebook has declined to remove any of those ads.

Bunch of f in hypocrites.

It would be so awesome to watch the African-American buy Facebook.
