The Jesus I know is a Jew. Yours is a Roman puppet. The Western Governments have taken a Middle Eastern God and Westernized Jesus and tried to make him viable and relevant in our modern world. The jury is in. It does not work. His morals are lacking. Christianity has failed due to the fact that Christianity reversed the moral direction of the Jewish Jesus, including liberation of women from male oppression. It failed because the parent religion was too weak to hold together. Its weakness remains onto today as we can see with the plethora of Christian and other Abrahamic sects. Inequality of the sexes is a policy that is completely opposed to Jesus teachings of all bodies having a spark of God within us. The kingdom of God is within you. The Roman Government created Jesus does not promote freedom and free thinking nor the equality of women and gays. The Christian Jesus wants sheep. The Gnostic Christian and Jewish Jesus on the other hand were to live and lead. Not die and be forever absent. All the Jesus are archetypes IMO and never lived. If a real Jesus ever lived then he would have been just a man because a divine Jesus doing anything for man is reduced in importance because it is an all-powerful God doing it. Who cares if such a God died and resurrects 100 times? A man can only die once so life to man is important. Physical life to God is not important at all. If God was just ridding a human body then the sacrifice was no big deal. Simply stated. The Roman or Government created Jesus is a government boot licking pacifist stooge. The Jewish and Gnostic Christian Jesus is a freedom fighter and freedom lover who sees all souls as equal, including women and gays. Which Jesus do you think more worthy? Regards DL
