For sure... Republicans aren't going to fix the real problems (they'll just SAY they will). America's best bet is Barack Obama in 2012!!
You just watched that video highlighting the abject failure and total destruction of our economy under a clueless president, and then you have the gall to post that ridiculous one liner supporting this clown in 2012? You need a visit to your local psychiatrist asap! I'm guessing you're not old enough to vote, thank GOD!
Your username says it all. No objectivity from you then! When the GOP candidates are about as dull as the incumbent you should have more to worry about until someone with class takes the White House. How about Harrison Ford? He probably know about as much as the candidates and Obama combined. And he could continue with the mess - but with style.
Please, stop with the anti-liberal HYPE and BS. That crummy video is a distortion of reality (as are many things coming from the Right). I just watched a video of barely average quality, which bashes Barack Obama for the typical political purposes. That wasn't difficult to figure out. O'12!!
He's the big banks main man! Go get em OWSer...offer up the worst of crony capitalism, and mindlessly chant the opposite. OP...great video.
I like Obama and his vision of this nation. Still, if OWS leads to correcting many of the problems (politically) that current Republicans/Democrats will not... then I lean in favor of the candidate that reflects the movement. Obama is doing a good job in my view (so far). We'll see what he supports in the coming months. The system isn't going to change overnight. I'm not going to spout the "ideal" on these pages, while ignoring the political realities of the present. Disagree.
It just baffles me that there are still people that can look at Obama and what he has done and see anything positive. Just goes to show how bad of a shape our country is in.
I tend to think of it as a reaffirmation of the idea that liberals are idiots. If they bought into the 2008 hype about Obama and voted for him, and now realize what a horrible mistake that was, then that's one thing. Lesson learned. Many people weren't political then and voted for stupid reasons (like keeping Palin out of the White House). However, after all of this destruction, if they still look upon him and get thrills up their legs, there's something fundamentally wrong with them.
