Well atleast Portugal lost to the champions. And we sure did give them a hard time. Our tactic was impeccable.

The LPGA U.S.Open is this weekend! I may actually get to watch it 'cause it'll be on ESPN2 & NBC. I haven't watched much of the womens tour this season because I don't get The Golf Channel anymore. Michelle Wie needs to break out of her slump.

Beating Tsonga won't be an easy task, but congrats to Murray getting to the semi's.

I hope Kobe has grown up. The last time the ball had to run through another teammates hands he hated it.

Life long Suns fan. Nash going to the Lakers is like having my girlfriend cheat on me with my worst enemy. I am so bummed out.

What's worse, is the Suns didn't get much for Nash.

It was bad all the way around. Two low first round picks and two low 2nd round picks is no help at all. The problem I have is that I could deal with him going to any team other than the Lakers. I still support him because he is a good guy and deserves to play for a contender but it is the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing Lakers.

    Who is your team?

Meh, I root for the Suns, when I actually pay attention too basketball.

Your right about it being a bad deal sending Nash to the Lakers. Why the he'll would you send a caliber player like him to your divisional rival.

KOBE!!!...:gun: STEP AWAY FROM THE BALL! :gun:
I think he would have a tougher time if it wasn't somebody he respects. He respects Steve Nash.

We have a very bad owner. I understand trying to do right by Nash for all he has done for the organization but you never give your biggest divisional rival the piece they need to contend for a title. You just can't do it especially if you get next to nothing in return. You would think congress was running the Suns.

He is going to make everyone on that team look like all stars. He is that good at running the point. My heart is broken.

I get your pain. But as a life long Laker fan, I can't be much happier. We got a real PG, one of the best the NBA has seen & we kept all our pieces. But I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I can't remember having a fav player leaving my team for a bitter rival. The closest I can come to it was when Gooden & Strawberry left the Mets for the (HATED!)Yankees. Those two guys weren't my fav Mets by the time they left, having worn out their welcome.

I believe that you guys, with the acquisition of Nash, will win the title this year or next. You lucky son of a gun.

I've been screaming for a while that the two Laker bigs need someone to get them the ball where they like it. I never even thought SN was an option for the Lakers.
I won't say the Suns got screwed for a couple of reasons:They were gonna lose him anyway, his going freed up money in order to get a couple players that you just signed & you guys weren't going to contend anyways. By the time Nash is ready to retire, you guys might be a contender. But I also realize that any/all of that won't quell the burning your eyeballs will get when you see SN in that Laker uni.

Well, we'll see about that. But it does put us back in the equation.

Boy, is it nice to see the Mets win some games. Like tonight's walk off win against the Phillies, winning 2 of 3 games in the series.

I won't get to watch much of either one, but a couple of great matches in the Wimbledon mens semis today. I'm rooting for Murray & Djokovic. Congrats to Serena for making the womans Final - now go finish it off, girl!!!

The only problem I see with Nash is that he is such a bad defender and he isn't getting better with age. I still dont see the Lakers beating OKC with Nash.

They are a better team with him yes but they still don't match up well with the other elite teams in the conference.

Well. without Nash, the Lakers were the 3rd best team in the conference. If the Lakers have to go through both S.A. & OKC, not having the home court, I don't like their chances much. But if you tell me it's the Thunder & Lakers in the Conference Finals, I'd give the Lakers a punchers shot. You are right about Nash's defense, but that means Bynum has to play like a monster in the middle. He hasn't shown that he can or is willing, to do that consistently. The Lakers have been bad defensively at the point guard position pretty much my whole life.
