It looks like the Libertarian Party has launched their own version of Ron Paul....only even better!
    This guy is great IMO.

He is against legislation that outlaws abortion, gay marriage, or most illegal drugs.

He is a non interventionalist (not to be confused with isolationist)

    He is a fiscal conservative.

I can't think of one reason NOT to vote for this guy....:)......:sun:

I can..But at least THIS MAN IS HONEST about what he represents.
Paul in a debate with him for the libertarian vote might find it tough going.
    Paul wants it both ways..
    He cant have it.

In all seriousness, I have my doubts about a third party canadite.

I'd vote for him out of protest if the Greens don't have anyone good.

Gary Johnson endorsed Ron Paul in 2008. He is now telling his supporters to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries.

So what does this mean? Johnson obviously doesn't want to splinter the base of support that both he and RP draw from. My guess is that this is a move to keep himself in the public eye, draw more support to the cause and then position himself as Ron Paul's VP choice.

He's like Ron Paul but even less likeable.

From what I have read he did a good job as a Governor and ran a successful business before that. Gary also has many personal accomplishments. I agree with what he says.

I could not think of one reason not to vote for the guy.

    I agree.

The sad thing is that most of the American public hasn't even heard of the Libertarian Party.

I'l be voting for him if Paul doesn't win the nomination. I have a feeling that if Paul wins the nomination, however, that he will back out and support Paul or maybe even be his VP.

One good thing.......the likability factor for Presidents has never coorelated with performance. People hated Harry Truman, and loved Reagan.
