Their climate denialism is a shrinking world they live in as they have backed off or ceded the following areas,

No more wailing about Polar Bears status.

Little wailing about Sea Ice.

Little wailing about Hurricanes.

No more wailing about Tornadoes.

No more wailing about Snowfall.

Little wailing for drought and wet events.

The main area they still scream a lot is these two,

Hottest year on record and a big Heatwave neither one supports the long dead AGW conjecture.

As far as temperatures, www.timesmachine.com has an issue of the New York Times for years with newsworthy events of that date, going back to 1859. The temperatures today are comfortably within shouting distance of the temperature any of those random dates, unless those dates happen to fall within a heat or cold wave. For example, on 12/20/1972. The forecast high that that for NYC was 48, the forecast low 37. December 20, 2023's forecast high and low, 46 and 29. My first December 20, 1957 on the earth, forecast high, 56, forecast low, 50. My mother's first December 20, 1932 on the earth, high 40, low 25. My Dad's, 12/20/1925, high 43, low 38. So it goes.
It is now indisputable that health authorities have consistently been lying to the public about the origin and nature of the COVID pandemic, about the effectiveness of inexpensive public-domain treatments and preventive measures, and that contrary to health authorities' claims, the COVID vaccines are neither safe nor effective -- but have been astronomically profitable for the drug companies that own the patents.
DEBUNKED Conspiracy bovine excrement content above duly noted.

Those that EMBRACE Climate DENIALISM also embrace CONSPIRACY bovine excrement about Covid!

HILARIOUS!

Looks like someone here is trying to deplatform me by having my posts removed for absurdly trivial reasons: my latest post was deleted just for asking you if you were a dupe. So what next? You are encouraged to accuse me of conspiracy theories, blah, blah, blah, but I'm not allowed even to suggest that you may have been tricked, fooled, conned, bamboozled?

Somehow, I kinda figured it'd be something like that....

Your "source" is one of the authorities that have been lying to people about COVID. Here are the FACTS:

Among patients with non-severe COVID-19 and no risk factors for severe disease receiving a single 400 mcg/kg dose of ivermectin within 72 h of fever or cough onset there was no difference in the proportion of PCR positives. There was however a marked reduction of self-reported anosmia/hyposmia, a reduction of cough and a tendency to lower viral loads and lower IgG titers which warrants assessment in larger trials.

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/eclinm/article/PIIS2589-53702030464-8/fulltext

I also notice that your source carefully omits any reference to vitamin D, which offers strong protection against COVID mortality and morbidity at extremely low cost because it is not patentable (yet):
Meta-analysis of seven systematic reviews showed strong evidence that vitamin D supplementation reduces the risk of mortality (Odds ratio: 0.48, 95% CI: 0.346-0.664; P < 0.001) in COVID patients

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35166850/
So now even Lancet and NIH (and there are many other credible peer-reviewed sources for the FACTS I have identified) are just dealing in BS conspiracy theories?

Disgraceful.

"Ceded" Nope, not even close.
Polar bears are fine
Sea ice is fine
No data on hurricanes that any increase in number or intensity has exceed LONG TERM trends.
Snow fall is keeping with long term cycles
Rainfall patterns are matching long term trends
"Hotness" based on a .3C increase is no big deal - it was hotter and drier in the 1930's
Heatwaves and coldwaves are part of WEATHER not climate.

By the way we're not "deniers" we are people who study and research rather than listen the semi-informed "journalists".

I agree, and I do not enjoy being shouted down when I quote actual weather trends and actual temperatures.

Feeling the pinch.
Germany’s Nationwide Discontent Will Be Fueled Further By Higher CO2 Tax – Planned For 2024!
By P Gosselin on 23. December 2023

The only thing Berlin’s fueling is discontent…
The German government’s CO2 price increase beginning from January 2024 will make petrol, heating and electricity more expensive.

Already Germany’s industry is shrinking rapidly and farmers are now protesting nationally due to high fuels costs:

These protests are rapidly expanding and a national day of protest in planned for January 8, 2024. Many of the working class are expected to join in.

Yet, Germany’s Socialist-Green government, led by Olaf Scholz, continues to stick to its plans to drastically increase the carbon price, beginning in January, and thus make life for millions even more painful.

Currently the price is 30 euros per ton and it will rise to 45 euros per ton beginning in 2024.

“As a result, the cost of refueling, heating and electricity will continue to rise.” reports Blackout News here.

Not only will this fuel inflation, but will also only further exacerbate a discontent that it is approaching the boiling over point. Social unrest threatens.

“Heating costs in Germany will continue to rise in the coming year. According to the comparison portal “Verivox”, the price of gas will rise by 0.39 cents per kilowatt hour, while heating oil will become 4.8 cents more expensive per liter. For an average family with a heating requirement of 20,000 kilowatt hours, this means additional annual costs of 78 euros for gas and 96 euros for heating oil. These increases come on top of already high energy prices and place a further burden on households,” according to Blackout News.

The CO2 tax increase will also impact the prices at the gas pump and be felt by both both consumers and businesses.

There’s also no end in the rise in electricity price for consumers, as power grid charges go into effect and there alone consumers will be burdened another 100 euros annually.

The government is also introducing a jet fuel tax for domestic flights in a bid to herd more citizens into trains and buses.

Even the press in Germany – largely center-left – have criticized “the back door” tax hikes.

It's a deliberate lie; what they are aiming at is affluent lifestyles of people whom they look down upon, i.e. the middle class. These people loved lockdowns back in the Covid days, even if they flouted those. Same with "renewable" energy. There will be rationing of some kind.

Rationing is effectively happening in California. Sacramentans cannot use air conditioning in late afternoon through early evening. There are rotating blackouts on very hot days. And power in some areas is turned off on windy days because PG&E doesn’t have enough money to maintain the power lines because of “inexpensive” wind and solar energy.

Germany: “Renewable Energy Sector Facing The Abyss”…”On The Brink” …Economy Breaking Up
By P Gosselin on 27. December 2023

Germany’s Blackout News here reports on how Germany’s move into renewable energies has gone from “a boom to crisis”.

The policies of (worst ever) Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Green Party) are leading the German economy to disaster. Photo: public domain.

It wasn’t long ago, when interest rates and inflation were low, and the economy and the business of renewable energies in Germany were booming.

But now, Blackout News reports how “the outlook for the renewable energy sector has deteriorated drastically” and affordable raw materials have become hard to get. Manufacturers are now reeling. “The renewable energy sector is facing the abyss” and is “on the brink.”

“The S&P Global Clean Energy Index, which monitors the performance of the sector, has fallen by 32% in the last 12 months, while the global stock markets have risen by 11%,” writes Blackout News. “These losses on the stock market not only affect the companies themselves, but also the investors and shareholders who have invested in renewable energies.”

Entire article (German) here.

Reduced work hours, job cuts

Blackout News also reports how the German economy in general, the biggest in Europe, is crumbling at its foundation. For example, construction equipment manufacturer Liebherr “is putting 1000 employees on short-time working for 9 months.”

Also Stiehl, Gardena and Hansgrohe, are “opting for short-time working and job cuts.”

Other famous German companies planning cuts include textile group Groz-Beckert in Albstadt-Ebingen, and chainsaw manufacturer Stihl,

“Rising inflation and the construction crisis are two of the main reasons for the current economic uncertainty. Rising inflation is putting a strain on households,” reports Blackout News.

The major driver of inflation and all the German economic misery? The rising cost of energy caused by the government’s incompetent energy policies.

No one will admit that what they want is soft lockdown, pure and simple. Lockdown was a solution looking for a problem, whether it's Covid or "climate change."

Sometimes things happen in a much smaller personal space that's not on a big national or international scale. This came up for me this weekend and I thought I'd share.

I live out in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia about 70 miles west of DC. Our electricity supplier is the Shenandoah Valley Electrical Cooperative (SVEC). Over the last weekend the monthly little magazine from the SVEC showed up in our mailbox. In the magazine was an article on the following:

https://www.svec.coop/energy-solutions/community-solar/

Essentially, someone, for some reason, decided that the SVEC needed to invest in solar. Not sure if it's some larger government mandate or just some climate nutters who showed up at a shareholders meeting, or what exactly the motivation is.

But as detailed here, the SVEC has found some empty plot of land (not hard out here in the boonies) and built a bunch of solar panels. Now they're offering shares of this project to members at something like $5/block. If you buy a block or two, you'll get regular notifications of how much power is being generated, yadda, yadda...

So now down to brass tacks- how much can you expect your electricity bill to go down?

Well, no, actually your bill goes up. All those extra $5 shares mean purchasers pay that amount extra every month. I'm not even sure you get a button or t-shirt stating how much of an eco-sucker, I mean eco-warrior, you now are for contributing to this thoroughly useless waste of space.

Of course, I'll continue to save my money for things that matter, like fuel for my 5.0L pickup truck engine.

And the physics deniers will continue to careen toward well earned oblivion.
