Racism doesn't happen to civilized races unless perpetuated by an uncivilized race. I've never in my life heard of a South East Asian being beaten or killed because of a racial issue. Probably because South East Asians don't annoy people by continuously murdering, raping and robbing them in their own lands. The majority of black "people" walk around with a constant chip on their shoulder. Always angry or thinking the world owes them something. Of course, anti-racist *******s enable this by constantly informing them they are owed something, but that's for another debate. If blacks learned to be a little more civilized in their behavior then racism would decrease. This is actually a fact because I know mine would. My only crime is wanting to live in a peaceful society where everybody is civil to eachother. That's literally impossible with blacks around. No one WANTS to be racist. No one hates for no reason or over something as trivial as different skin color. If that were the case, why do I like South East Asians? They have a different skin color to mine. And why do I like them? Because the majority are nice, quiet, respectful, hard-working, law-abiding people. I tend to like nice people and dislike uncivilized, horrible people. Which explains my racism towards blacks. Racism will continue until blacks learn how to be nicer "people" like the rest of us in civilized society. But I don't think blacks want racism to diminish. Not while they can cash in on it and use it to their own advantage. Thus a never ending cycle of wretchedness in society that can never be rectified unless racial segregation is considered. But of course, that would require all the non-black races to discover a backbone which is about as likely as Obama lasting another 4 years...

Racial harmony will only succeed if blacks themselves learn to knock the chip off their own shoulders, and while they're at it...go out and get a job and learn to earn their own keep in life devoid of a cradle to grave nanny/welfare/entitlement govt in which to suckle from.
Chinese and Japanese peoples have fought many wars over racial tensions. Race has played a major part of Asian history. Just thought I'd point that out. Racism is not okay period: whether it be against whites, Asians or blacks. What one chooses to say or do based on their feelings about someone's race are their responsibility. It is not someone else's fault. Also, your statement about blacks is pretty generalized. Are you referring to blacks i.e people with dark skin who reside in places beside the U.S or African Americans who are Americans who are black with AFrican ancestry? There's a difference. Either way, there are plenty blacks as well as African Americans who work very hard, have jobs, and contribute a lot to society. Not everyone person who points out racism, does so because they have a 'chip' on their shoulder. I presume that you are referring mostly to African Americans since you mentioned 'chip' on the shoulder; are you saying they shouldn't be pissed off about slavery or all the terrible things they've been through in America? As a nation, we've treated our minorities terribly. Its getting better but its still not great. Have you read the novel Beloved by Toni Morrison as well? I highly recommend it if you have any questions about how harmful/devastating slavery can be on a person, community, family, and heritage. Beautifully written book as well. I really do recommend it.
One example of what the OP is talking about happened to me at a meeting a few years ago. We were discussing requirements. After some discussion, the team lead stated, "OK, so we'll black-line requirements 2-6." To which one member responded, "Why's it gotta be black." The lead was using a very common term and that member had such a chip on her shoulder that she made it a racist issue (and before anyone comments, she was completely serious although her outburst led to years of jokes every time the word black was mentioned in the office after that.)
The majority of blacks are law-abiding, hard working citizens. How could they possibly bring racism on themselves? The idea that the victim is responsible for the actions of the victimizer is flawed logic.

There's no need to point that out. South east Asians behave impeccably for the most part in our society. There is nothing wrong with racism whatsoever as it is completely natural. If blacks were so concerned about racism they would do far more to address the UNACCEPTABLY bad behavior of the majority of their people. I honestly think racism doesn't effect black "people" in a negative way. They certainly have enough advantages to gain from it like using the race card and there's enough anti-racist *******s out there to take pity on them and bend over backwards to meet their every need.
