Not only can this 'paticle' interfere with itself but under Quantum Scattering in double refraction, arbitrarly decide that it is in fact polarized and choose its axis of polarization! We have come a long way from Einstein's simple explanation of a 'body' of fixed energy reacting with a bound electron.

Ok, got it maybe! ha ha... Question; Is double refraction the same as birefringence? Or when light, by light I a mean single ‘ray’ splits into two ‘parts’ or ‘components’ when in a crystal matrix of certain materials (sugar crystals comes to mind), leaving one part of the ray unchanged, but effects the other that is refracted ? Is this where and when the particle (of the light ray components) chooses it’s destiny/fate? Does this self- choosing play the same part as a self aware entity making a measurement i.e. an observation? quantum superposition? I hope you understand the question its difficult to word. I am aware that the two components of the light waves are traveling at different velocities and different ‘directions’ (because of the type medium the ‘light ray components’ are in)…

I am saying that the whole lot has more to do with making science a religion with its 'Mysteries' then trying to find a sensible non-mathematical physical model.
    It all started with Maxwell...
