For those PF posters who try denying the existence of sleeper cels and stealthy Jihadists in America.

You are put on notice that the truth is on display here.

Al-Qaeda Threat Leads to Some U.S. Embassy Closings

The U.S. closed 21 embassies and consulates from Egypt and Libya to Yemen and Afghanistan today after issuing a worldwide travel warning of potential terror attacks by groups linked to al-Qaeda.

“The Department of State has instructed certain U.S. embassies and consulates to remain closed or to suspend operations on Sunday,” as a “precautionary” step, department spokeswoman Marie Harf said last week. Embassies are open on Sunday in some predominantly Muslim countries, where it’s part of the workweek.

While U.S. officials didn’t disclose specific risks to embassies and other facilities this weekend, the travel advisory issued Aug. 2 described potential terrorist attacks in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia for the rest of this month, possibly emanating from the Arabian Peninsula.

“Current information suggests that al-Qaeda and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks both in the region and beyond, and that they may focus efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August,” the department said. The attacks “may involve public transportation systems and other tourist infrastructure,” according to the statement.

The information includes communications among known terrorists intercepted by the National Security Agency in recent days, according to two U.S. officials who asked not to be identified discussing classified intelligence matters. They declined to offer specifics about the exchanges, although they called the content of them credible and disturbing.
    Yemen Connection

The primary focus is on al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, a terrorist group based in Yemen and a remote part of Saudi Arabia, according to U.S. Representative Peter King and the two American officials.

The possible Yemen connection was underscored as the U.K., Germany and France announced temporary closings of their embassies in that country.

“We’ve been informed directly and indirectly of threats” on French buildings and people abroad, French President Francois Hollande said yesterday in a video on the website of the Elysee Palace.

Canada’s embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is closed today as well, the Canadian Press reported, citing a spokesman for the Foreign Minister.

Representative King, a New York Republican, called the threat intelligence “the most specific I’ve seen” since the attacks on the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001.

“It is coming out of Yemen, and it is al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula,” King said Aug. 2 on CNN. “There is a plot, the attacks are planned, but it’s not certain as to where.”
    Potentially Misleading

It’s possible that the terrorists’ discussions of planned attacks may be intentionally misleading in an attempt to divert attention and security from the location, timing or nature of an actual plot, cautioned one of the officials, who called the intelligence credible but not ironclad.

Amid worldwide debate over U.S. surveillance techniques, the intercepted messages also could be an effort to test what communications the NSA is monitoring, or whether certain computers, mobile phones or individuals have been compromised, according to the U.S. officials.

The warning surfaced as President Barack Obama’s administration argues that the agency’s surveillance programs are essential to fight terrorist threats. Top-secret documents disclosed by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden showed the collection of data is more extensive than previously known.

US sources: Terror alert prompted by suspected suicide bombers with implanted explosives
August 5, 2013, The Obama administration continued Monday, Aug. 5, to try and impress Americans and the world that its far-reaching still ongoing terror alert across a host of Muslim countries was serious and credible. Members of the House and Senate intelligence committees - Democrats and Republicans alike - fully backing the White House, said the chatter picked up over the past two weeks exceeds anything in the past decade.

What? No one goes along with those Progressives that claim that the real terrorists are T-Partiers?

"What we're not for is negotiating with people with a bomb strapped to their chest—we're not going to do that," White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer recently told CNN's Jake Tapper. "I believe the House Republicans are entirely responsible."

The issue here is not if there are or are not "al-Qaeda cells" in the US, but if they are really connected to al-Qaeda at all.

Back before 9-11, al-Qaeda was a pretty well organized and hierarchical organization, with a clear chain of command and centers of operations. And they primarily were a form of "Angel Investor" for other upstart groups. They would provide training and money and equipment, then sit back and watch the chaos created.

But after 9-11, they drew to much hear and their operation was largely destroyed. Their founder and leader went into hiding, and the organization fragmented. Now any time some group bands together they claim "allegiance" to al-Qaeda, and add that to their name.

Even though most of them have no real connection to al-Qaeda.

This is kind of like the new Nazi movement, or the many Marxist-Communist-Anarchist groups over the years. Some group pops up in the Katiga Forrest and calls itself the "Katiga Marxist Army", even though it really has no connection to Marx at all, it is just using the name.

al-Qaeda is now kind of like the Ranch Dressing of Islamic terrorism. Kind of like the "Alphabet Soup" of "Palestinian" organizations a few years ago.

PLO, PLP, PLFP, PFLP, PPLO, the list goes on and on, most see al-Qaeda as nothing new. The name means nothing, because any 4 or 5 people that band together to "fight for Islam" as they see it append "al-Qaeda" to their name.

The terrorists of today are smart and have no morals. they bomb people in public places, and, make sure they get away with it. the new terrorist is worried about staying alive it seems.

The best way to deal with threats of terror is to make them more fearful of being caught. if they are scared enough the 'modern people' that come to america - people with degrees - will probably not bomb any public places. if they were scared enough they would not do a lot of things. this is easier to do than you think!

The way to scare them is to get clerics from the continent to come on television and denounce them. then, they will be told they are not doing god's will, as i am sure that that nobody in public roles will support the bombings.

Then, they should ask themselves what it is they will achieve by bombing public places? will they change anything? if the christians were to come to the near east bombing them, wold they become christians? absolutely not! they would also fight back and hold their families in their arms and cry. so, why do it that way around either?

It is so easy to make bombs today. things like the anarchist's cookbook are out there to show you how to build bombs. there is no way to get this off the internet, so, they need to find a solution to it as there is no 'cure.' if the world was to be honest, there is money in it, so anyone could be a terrorist.

So, we need to stop them. if they were told they would go to hell for it, it might discourage some of them. if they were to require a 'permit' or something for 'trade' between states, that would get rid of all of the rest. it is common sense that some will do it for god and others will do it for money, but this covers all of them. but, with the permit, won't it be expensive and stuff for the americans and the west?

Well, it could be simple and cheap. if they were to flag any money crossing the border, hell even to mexico and canada, then they could simply take notes of who collects it. then they could use a computer to see where it is spent. actually, all money coming in for bankers and stuff could also be flagged, and, shown where it is spent on credit cards, but what about when money is withdrawn from the bank?

If money is withdrawn from the bank then they could simply reject the ability to withdraw the money directly. this would mean they need to get a credit card and then it will be easy to track. if they cannot withdraw money from the bank too, then they need to get a credit card or cheque book. that could work...

But, often the money is paid to their families in the near east to prevent them from tracking the money. this means, we are back at the first division - the people sharing with their families would be god fearing and moral, and think of going to hell as their clerics say they will.

And, they could stop money entering the country like that all together by making it illegal. they could simply say that no banks will accept money from outside the country without a clear reason why.
