According to "On the Issues", there have been so far, 20 Republicans to seek the 2012 nomination for President of the United States. Eight have withdrawn and the head count presently stands at 12 (Sarah Palin is classified as "withdrawn"). There is no known explanation for this mass run on the White House. But Republicans do seem to endorse a newly created standard that says anyone who can text and/or tweet is fully qualified for the Office of President.

This new standard provides good reason to expect even more candidates (and dropouts) as the campaign moves into 2012. As far as I can tell, "On the Issues" does a good job of providing unbiased, clear and factual information about present and potential office holders. But the website does not explain why political and government processes have recently evolved into something, shall we say, bizarre? For the Republican campaign head count, see: http://www.ontheissues.org/default.htm

So many are running because Obama shat on our economy so whoever can snag the nomination is all but guaranteed to win the general.

This is quite true, but, one proudly and openly brags about being in the pockets of the ultra wealthy. One stinks a little less of the two choices.
You have to choose between getting hit in the head with a hammer, or having it cut off completely. Take the hammer or don't vote (and you'll insure the right wing will get in).

Nah, there's no difference. They are both equally corrupt. Reference CFR.

Yes, we're the party of No when it comes to leftwing tyranny that you people want to inflict on us.

No one gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) about burger flippers, pizza delivery guys and other menial wage laborers. Those people should move to Mexico where they can lead a better life.

While that may indeed be the case, it doesn't stop the party of intolerance, and selfishness from turning daily life into an even bigger pile of (*)(*)(*)(*) if we let them get control.
If the choice is between a corporate run society that still accepts social diversity and a communal approach to problem solving, and a corporate run society that promotes selfishness and social Darwinism, I prefer the one that promotes diversity and shared burdens and benefits.

(*)(*)(*)(*), does this mean President Obama will have to learn to txt/tweet. Lord knows, he can't do anything else, poor thing.

Which one is the "kook"? Or more to the point, which one is not the kook? The Republican 12-person debates (with podiums carefully arranged in a row) is merely a political version of the Radio City Rockettes. A kook in a line of kooks is difficult to identify. I'm gonna vote for the choreographer!

You mean those 'Americans'? You are right, despite all the flag waving of the Right Wing, they clearly cant stand ordinary Americans.

My god, you met one? Where? How in the world did you manage to meet an ordinary American? Are you going to lose your status as a liberal elite now?
