Exactly my predictions as well. At first I was thinking the Patriots against the 49ers would be the easy task for brady & co, but then I realized they'll need to make amends for having thre Giants beat them in a prior super bowl. So once the Patriots dispose of the Giants they will be on par to creating a dynasty with their very young team. Lets face it, over time their pitiful defense can only get stronger, and their offense is the best the league has ever seen, not to mention that they're the most exciting team to watch.

Pats haven't beaten a team over .500 this year. I'm putting my money on the Ravens in this one.

I think the Ravens can keep it close, but I'm still searching for a way to talk myself into thinking they can win the game. Right now, I have a hard time envisioning the Pats letting this one slip away, much to my dismay.

Haha. Yeah Brady is amazing. And I make my pick with some reservation, because anytime Brady is at qb Pats have a chance to win. But the Ravens D is going to be tough.

One thing to lean on with Ravens is, is that I have a feeling they're looking at this game as their last hoorah, maybe their last chance as a group to go to the SB. If Flacco doesn't play well, he may get run out of town. Hopefully the "D" & Ray Rice come out rabid, & Flacco doesn't give the game away.

This will be one of Brady's greatest games against a real good Raven defense.

So as I said earlier....Patriots against the Giants in the SB.

That all depends on whether our O-coordinator does something other than the same few plays all game long and actually makes adjustments at halftime, if things aren't working. And if our O-line blocks better.

I agree. Its obvious even the best team struggle to matchup with the Pats weapons. The Ravens D is an older unit and if the Pats come out like last week w/ a no huddle hurry up offense get up early instead of spotting a TD ,the Ravens will hard pressed to compete offensively.

I think the Pats D can employ the same gameplan as they had vs the Broncos.
Focus on runs game and filling the gaps, keep the short stuff in front of them and make Flacco beat them w/ a strong passing game which I dont personally think he possesses.

    31-13

    Fun fact:

    Turnover diff:

    Pats +17
    Ravens +2

Mr. Up On the Governor is a huge 49ers fan, so he has been unbearable lately. I would hate to see his spirits crushed, but I cannot take this for another two weeks. Go Giants.

I do not get why everyone is hot for the Ravens defense. They are old and used up. Sure they look great at the beginning of the season, but towards the end they started to look fatigued and sloppy. I think the Pats will pull this one out (sts).

I really feel for you. The kid had the winning score in his hands. Worse yet, we're gonna have to listen to Patriot fans, even though they should shut up 'cause they got real lucky. In his own words, Tom Brady says, "I sucked today"!

The point is the Pats are going to the Superbowl (again) and we aren't. We outplayed them, had more offense than them, drove down the field to attempt to finish the game off and we still lost.

The Ravens didn't outplay them at all. It was a really close game, and the Pats won because the Ravens didn't execute in the clutch when they needed to. They had a chance to win it, and Lee Evans dropped it, and tie it and Cundiff missed the field goal. When you have a really close game like that was, that is what decides those games.

The Patriot's defense played well enough to win the game. That is the bottom line. I wouldn't say the Ravens played poorly, but to suggest they outplayed the Patriots is a bit ridiculous. The Patriots out scored them in three quarters.

If anything the Pats got lucky. There were a lot of shady calls all game long but that didn't kill us, Evans dropping the game winner in the endzone followed by Cundiff missing what is normally an easy kick is what cost the Ravens a trip to Indy. Change either one of those and we might be Superbowl bound.

As it stands, that's not how it works.

well, luck and officials calls going their way will not help the Giants this time

The Pats will beat them by 2 TD's in the Superbowl

Well, we'll see about that. The Patriots know all about getting lucky.

No team makes it to the superbowl without being lucky. Eric Moore mocked that ball out of Lee Evan's hands, and even if Cundiff made that field goal, which he absolutely should have, that would only have sent it into OT. The Ravens have a very good team but the Patriots were the better team.

The Pats beat no one in the regular season with a record over .500 and lost to the Giants at home on Nov. 6, 24-20.

Plus, despite the fact they played only 1 over .500 team in the reg. season - the Patriots had the second worst defense (by yards) in the league.

I change my mind - I am going with the Giants by 3.
