I don't believe it was a coincidence.

AIDS actually first appeared in the 1920s in the Congo.

The first tissue samples with it come from 1959.

Here are some notes I found in this book called "the virus cancer program" that I found interesting:

Inventor of AIDS mentioned pg 38
He is mentioned several other times throughout the book.

pg. 46
pg 61

If you want to look in the book for more information, here is a link: http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=chi.77578100;view=1up;seq=5.

I also happened across this YouTube video. The uploader has annoying edits on it, but listen carefully to what the doctors are saying.
Merck Vaccine Chief Brings HIV AIDS to America

Just as I'm looking up stuff, I do see that gays were like the first to get experimental vaccines (tainted vaccines anyway).

I cannot be sure about the origin of AIDS, but there has been evidence showing how US engineers have been taking natural viruses and bacteria and attempting to weaponize them. One of these attempts was trying to get such things to target specific groups- like race. Anthrax is an engineered bio-weapon. Back during the anthrax scare, the public was led to believe terrorists were mailing people anthrax until an independent lab discovered that it was traced to an American lab somewhere in the country. Then anthrax disappeared from the news.

I think it's thinking like that which allows people to get away with whatever they want when concerning third-world peoples. Whatever happens, it's attributed to their backwards ways and not intervention from the outside.

Besides...wasn't the government experimenting on Blacks in the US with all sorts of viruses. And aside from that, weren't they experimenting on their own soldiers?

Hot humid viral primordial soup has nothing to do with "backwards ways". It has to do with the WEATHER and the CLIMATE. The same things that cause mold to grow quickly on your strawman.

There is no such thing as a "viral primordial soup". Different places have different kinds of pathogens. The Black Plague did not occur because of a humid, viral primordial soup, but because of dense, highly unsanitary living conditions. It is possible that this is the reason for some of the African outbreaks. I cannot be sure about all of them, however...

Nothing in your statement supports your conclusion that there is no such thing as a viral primordial soup. Viruses mutate. The conditions that host any given cluster of viruses will naturally host their mutations or else those mutations would fail. Ebola, dengue --take your pick. They occur largely in tropical areas so their mutations will arise in tropical area. Tourism spreads infections globally, but the hot spots for outbreaks of any given third world type infection are all the same for reoccurring pandemics/epidemics. When you can show me an outbreak of Ebola that is ultimately not connected in any way shape or form to the river after which the infection was originally named, get back to me.

The joke was that Reagan got a call from the CDC

CDC: Geez, we're sorry, one of our fatals for the Russian invasion got loose. It affects mainly gays and intravenous drug users

Reagan: You couldn't get it to work on the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s too?

To be primordial, you would probably have to go back quite some time.

Diseases breed well in the heat, but the reasons these diseases become epidemics is not related to the heat as much as the social and environmental factors that allow a disease to propagate quickly. Besides...

How many of those epic killers are in hot and humid areas?

I have never heard the 1920s date. Where did you learn of this? I heard AIDS first became an identified disease in the late 70s/ early 80's.

Upside-down cake, thank you for that amazing graphic. Maybe the reason the diseases were purposely started in humid climates is because the creators knew they would multiply and do well there. Also, they knew Africans for the most part do not have access to good health care facilities. So, they could see just how much damage and death was possible when no help for the victims was available.
This is my theory.

I remember that. Yes, the anthrax stories went away real fast. Almost as fast as the Ebola in America stories went away.

Whenever you folks have time google: Morgelleon's disease. I have a friend who suffers from this illness. The more I read about it the more it sounds like a manmade disease to me. I'm not trying to hand out homework assignments or anything like that, but just check it out. It's scary!

I looked this up and there are claims that it is an experimental nanotechnology. It makes it feel as though bugs are crawling under the skin. I came across two patent numbers that may be associated with it, but couldn't find enough information to make a connection. It does sound unnatural, but I'll keep an eye out for anything else on it.

DarkSkies, this stuff really scares me. What kind of evil mind would even want to cause this kind of suffering and death to other human beings?

I saw something on this in a government document by Henry Kissinger on this. For US long-term economic interests, they need lower population levels in 3rd world countries, or developing countries containing resources desired by multinational companies. It's in the NSSM200 document.

Google is your friend. Take just a bit of time, and then give this asinine theory a reboot. Gallo inventing HIV might be one of the most ret@rded theories I have ever seen on this board.

Actually, I heard a man named Fletcher L. Prouty, who was a high military official, say that the US Army developed AIDS as a biological weapon. Google his name. I heard him say this on a YouTube video. Thank you.

Actually his name is L. Fletcher Prouty, and he is a well documented bitter nutbag who ascribes to multiple conspiracy theories (ex. he was the inspiration for 'X' in JFK). He has asinine theories but never the evidence to actually back them up. As far as I can tell, he has absolutely zero training or experience in epidemiology, and his military experience comes at least 20 years after the Group M.

So, he is a "bitter nutbag" just because you disagree with him, huh? I believe he is telling the truth. I also heard (I don't recall the source) that the Ebola virus broke out in the parts of Africa that contain natural resources that the wealthy elite want. What is the best way to destabalize a country outside of declaring war on them? Inject a deadly virus into their population. Then after most of them are sick/suffering/dead come in and take what you want. Sounds sick, but there are some sick people in this world.

That is impressive. Apparently Gallo first invented a time machine and introduced it to the population 17 years before he was born. And if the 1920 date is too technical to understand, with that whole genetic markers thingy, then, at the very least Gallo would have had to 'helped the Army develop it' before he even went to medical school to account for the first HIV tissue sample in 1959.

No, he is a bitter nutbag because he is a bitter nutbag, blathering about conspiracies without a shred of evidence. And what does Ebola have to do with HIV?

It has already been expressed multiple times why Gallo could have had nothing to do with helping the government create HIV. Chr1st, you are so deluded you will not even consider simple time lines that destroy your pet beliefs.
