The prescience of the right

    With the economy surging back since the crash of 2008, it's interesting to see how well the cons forecasted the future after Obama was elected.
    Their hysterical hyperbole has always been curiously out of step with reality, but we already know what really drives their irrational hatred of the president.
    But now that the economy is growing, and they can't deny it anymore, it's probably the worst news they could get since it undercuts any reasonable argument that they can offer voters to win their votes in 2016. All they have left is tired demagoguery and race hysterics and the hope that they can fan the flames of cultural polarization enough for their rump base of old, angry whites to have an electoral chance.
