A cost saving exercise perhaps, but I am though doing what you all are doing, and assuming it in some way had something to do with Australia or the government. When so far it seems to be only about the company the ALP itself contracted to do security for Nauru when the ALP set up the center at Nauru. So making those blind assumptions you lefties do when its convenient, it then sounds like a good way to train security staff with the added benefit of providing extra security to the Senator. Why spend money training for no real world value when you can get training and real world benefit!
