Not to be compared to the Real J.F.K. Yes,Matthews loves politics. It's not just a replacement vice or addiction.It's in his blood. Case in point,his last book from a few years ago and an appearance on Martha Stewart.Matthews appeared all suited up.His standard Hosts attire of suitcoat and tie and probably wing tips.The camera never panned down to his feet.He coulda had loafers on.Kennedy's loved their loafers or topsiders,so anything Kennedyesque would probably appeal to Matthews.Martha was her usual busy self,at her kitchen counter with some dish to prepare.Matthews was therefore forced to try and comply.Next to her,politely being asked to do some chopping for the upcoming dish.All Matthews wanted to do was Talk politics. Matthews Loves politics.Couldn't keep from rambling on ad hoc about political intrigue and noteworthy scuttlebutt.Matthews was obsessed.Martha wasn't impressed.In fact,she seemed slightly peeved.Stewart isn't political.Matthews was trying to force her out from within her inherent cooks cocoon.Trying his best to get a reaction or faint glimpse at her political bent using every raconteur trick in his book. The Book of Matthews.The one that " dare not speak it's name ". The one of juicy tidbits on political enemy and foe alike.The one still unwritten.But I guess - Hardball - can suffice.That should pass muster as the Real Matthews. Even though Chrissy boy has a slight problem.His latest book on J.F.K. and the one he's out heavily promoting may not outsell another J.F.K. book written by one who Really knew the Real Jack. That book was written by J.F.K.'s Mistress { Mimi Alford } gee talk about a neato preppy name.Alford,an intern at the Kennedy White House has managed a book ... : - " Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and it's Aftermath " - I haven't read.But last Night Matthews kinda got my goat. He has a way of doing that.He ended a segment commenting on his Book - Jack Kennedy:Elusive Hero - and said " The REAL Story ".Inferring that this Intern/Mistress book is just some tabloid attempt.Totally inferior in a Matthews world. Again ... according to - The Book of Matthews -.You can make book on it. This kinda sums up Matthews and Politics.His version.Which really ain't too doggone real.I mean,did Chrissy boy get close to Jack and see him after a shower,maybe even after a swim like Truman Capote who was close to Jackie O.Capote,a master raconteur and gossip hound. NO ... Whatever Matthews wrote was done impersonally and virtually secondhand. So who should one believe ... an Intern,a Mistress who claims to have lost her Virginity to Jack {J.F.K. } while engaged in an 18 month affair ... " After he finished,he hitched up his pants and smiled at me." Alford wrote in a book released for publishing by The New York Post. Alford goes on ... " I was in shock.He,on the other hand,was matter-of-fact,and acted as if what just occurred was the most natural thing in the world." I could end there.But I mean,fer cryin out loud,why couldn't the Real Chris Matthews have managed to show up on Martha Stewart with some real nice dirt like that.Maybe some juicy Kennedy dirt. Because as we all know that would officially constitite a mortal sin Because somehow those Kennedy's { all of 'em} managed to get an Official Roman Catholic Exemption that allows for such behavior. I mean,like why bother to bring it up now. I'm sure Matthews will.Yeah ... like Hell !

Matthews is very skewed in his beliefs and the only thing about politics he cares about is promoting the liberal agenda. On a different note, he is also one of the worst commentators on the air. He has no control over his guests and does not guide discussions but lets them turn into shouting matches and he will always talk over guests trying to give opinions in order to interject his point. Especially with republican interviews he will let them say 3 maybe 4 words and then start talking over them to shut them up meaning that all you ever get is his views on the subject and not the guests. He also appears to suffer from constant constipation.
This should make it that much more difficult to attack Newt Gingrich.The fact that Matthews hero { J.F.K. } was actually committing ADULTERY while in office.Everyone in the Press knew it at the time but was conveniently quiet.Because even in the 60's the press was largely controlled by the Media { Walter Cronkite }. So when those hypocrites at MSNBC start up with attacks on Newt as being a serial marriage demon all that one need do is hold up a copy of Mimi's Book about the Real Jack { J.F.K.} Proving Matthews don't know jack.
