The second amendment gave this man the opportunity to help at the Texas shooting

The fact the second amendment exists gave this man the near by tools necessary to help. He’s a brave person no doubt. An off duty border agent borrowed a gun owned by a barber. A shotgun. One of my favorite types of self defense guns. He then went to the school and participated in evacuating kids.

Guns in America will always be around wether legal or not. The fact the 2nd exists and the right of private ownership exists, allowed for a gun to be accessible near him and allowed for more help to arrive.

I would say I’m a second amendment absolutist. The Elon musk of the 2nd lol. I believe that the restrictions on the 2nd are unconstitutional and only hinder honest people from defending honest people. I believe that if everyone were allowed to have guns on planes 9/11 would never have been a date that will live on forever. I also believe there are more good people than bad in this world and someone will always step up to the plate to strike evil down.

I do believe that the answer to violence is more guns. Sure people may get hurt, may die, but I believe it would be less. These attacks happen in areas where people are vulnerable. Hindered by the ability to carry. Hindered by the ability of defense.

The unlawful will never turn in their guns. It’s moronic to think they would. If we ever get rid of gun ownership and ban popular guns as Biden is suggesting we only make the honest people weaker. Biden says 9mm has no practice uses but it’s easy to carry because they are smaller pistols. They are choice for most carry concealed owners and most women. They kick less than a .40 or a .45. If the grounds Biden is outlying sufficient to ban 9mm’s it is also sufficient to ban any other popular semi auto pistol such as the .40 and .45. This rhetoric is not acceptable


I personally think Biden knows this. And that’s why he’s throwing it out there. He knows that asking for that much may produce a larger cut of what many will call “middle ground”. Make it easier to get a national registry and so on. But remember gun control never goes in reverse. They will continue to grab at it. Because none of this will stop what’s going on now. Only a culture change can.
