Not sure. I would imagine it is similar, but remember Obama said it was going to lower costs yet they have been increasing by 7.1% per year.
And that is the point, your perception of the Health Care issue is based on your imagination, you really aren't sure what is actually happening....
My oversight. Here you go. Republicans are very concerned that ObamaCare, in the coming years, will meet with similar success to its model, WillardCare, but only time will tell. If adopting the approach of the advanced nations that have been far more successful is required, that's what the US will eventually have to do.
These folks need to be institutionalized. The hate for one man has transformed these so called conservative republicans into regressive cannibals to their own party.
You would have thought that the Massachusetts universe would have come to an end by now with Romneycare, seeing that Obamacare is so bad.
Your imagination is certainly at work. You think when Obamacare more fully kicks in at the end of this year that costs will go down. It truly starts happening in October but people will have a year to register so really at the end of next year the (*)(*)(*)(*) really hits the fan. This is when the general outrage of Americans will reach a point of real public protest. With your imagination you think people will accept being forced into doing something under penalty. I truly hope the Republicans attach some meaningful elements to the bill when it comes back to the House. I hope they eliminate all corporations and government exemptions from the Healthcare requirements. The best way Republicans can eliminate Obamacare is to allow its full face to be seen by the American people.
I don't have to imagine anything, I live in Massachusetts, we've had the EXACT same thing here for years, and twice as many people like it as don't like it. And I'm not imagining that no Democracy has ever voted out Health Care once they have it. You are imagining that something that never happened before is going to happen. That takes quite an imagination.....
Maybe Putin can get the feuding GOPers to make nice before things get really ugly. Cruz is in overdrive getting the congressional berserkers wee wee'd up, and Boehner is looking like a harried babysitter whose valium has run out and is now self-medicating with copious adult beverages. Even Fox can't keep a lid on this one: . "Can't we all just get along?"
You are kidding yourself about what the general population wants. Less than 30% of people want it. When they start getting fined over it then you will see people protesting in the streets about it in great numbers. http://blog.heritage.org/2013/09/11/cnn-poll-support-for-obamacare-drops-below-40/
Wow, your link to a right wing propaganda site totally backs up your misperception. Did you know that the individual mandate of ObamaCare came from the Heritage Foundation?
What you are really saying is, I wish Obama, Reid, and Pelosi were the one's who will be blamed for the shutdown. You are afraid to say what the real truth is. Those three won't get near the blame.
Lol... nothing more than right-wing boilerplate. Much like a hostage taker shoots his victim and then blames the police because they didn't meet his demands. Sorry. America isn't going to buy it. - - - Updated - - - And when their poison pill gets stripped out and sent back to them by the Senate? Lame attempt at brinkmanship politics by the GOP.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. America has reached W's level of brilliance now because they (WE) have decided we won't get fooled again. Not by the likes of your kind! Pandering, lying, progressive political ideologues and radical revolutionaries. Obamacare or a strong and free United States of America. Choose one. Because you can't have both!
Because if that were really true, you would have never said it. You would have kept your mouth shut knowing it was going to happen on its own. When people are paranoid about something, they often spout out claims that aren't true, hoping their claims will in fact be true. But, they know they won't. It's human nature to fool yourself when you're on the wrong side of something. People know Romneycare has worked since 2006 and is still working. It's approval is in the 80 percentile for approval. Playing this demonizing game of Obamacare is a losing strategy. And to shut the government down because of spite is even digging a deeper hole for the right. They're looking like fools.
No, but I don't fool myself into thinking that numbers can't be manipulated by advertising. I also don't kid myself, and ignore all the real world experience with health care insurance schemes. In Massachusetts, where we have had the "Same F'ing law" for 6 years, it's very popular, two to one in favor. And no democracy has ever done away with a health care scheme, ever. But you imagine, that America, or at least 49 of the United States, will just hate it, and demand it be repealed and that we go back to what we had. Based on what?
