Do you know GDP when reported is actually real GDP? 3.3% growth in GDP accounts for inflation.

Maybe. Read linked to article and no where did it specify nominal or real. Usually the term "real" is included when REAL GDP is being referred to. As well weve added about 3% in population just in illegal immigrants under Biden. We need 3% growth in GDP just to keep pace with illegal immigration.

Eating hot dogs when you used to be able to eat steak but inflation has ended that is an economy that is hardly "rolling admirably".
When folks have to buy groceries on credit... that isn't "rolling admirably".

Voters don't care about STATISTICS. Thet care about paying their bills.

Voters are CONSUMERS... not political analysts.

Ah, so you do blame Trump for Covid and the pandemic. Since you credit him for gas dropping in price because of the pandemic he's responsible for, right?

When did conservatives abandon their support for personal responsibility? Rightists used to get mad cause folks bought the newest cell phones instead of food for their families during the Obama years. LOL

Conservatives don't believe in personal responsibility anymore apparently. They want big daddy government to make their lives better it seems.

I blame Fauci and his Chinese labs for Covid. And we credit Trump for gas prices because he took us from a net importer of oil to a net exporter of oil by encouraging US production.

I don't know how often I have corrected this same lame excuse. It's as if they aren't even doing the least modicum of research when they come up with their "the economy is the worst ever" talking points. Or, maybe, some don't know the difference between nominal and real GDP.

You are applying logic to behavior that exhibits none. It's not enough research etc., not understanding, etc, it's pure disingenious hyper partisan disinformation repeated enough times to paint a negative picture to help one person.

You realize that we are setting new records in oil production and exporting right now. You know, the true definition of energy independence.

    Thanks Dark Brandon.

There have been times when discussing real GDP, they still come up with the excuse that real GDP doesn't account for inflation. They hate Biden so much they continue to deny fundamental components of the measurement.

Yes I realize. And we still reached energy independence under Trump for the first time in decades. And would likely be producing even more without Dark Brandon who has done nothing to encourage production and much to discourage.

Conservatives ARE responsible. But Biden's inflation is killing everyone.
Biden's skyrocketing inflation doesn't care what your race, color, creed or political affiliation is. Its murderous to everyone.

That's still a bit high, but yes, coming down. But when inflation decreases it doesn't cause the massive prices caused by Biden's massive inflation of the past three years to come down. It doesn't LOWER the prices caused by Biden's out of control inflation of the last three years:
    - Slowing inflation suggests that Biden's policies are helping, but American voters are still hurting | AP News
Slowing inflation means less damage is being done but can't UNDO the damage:
    - Inflation has risen every month since President Biden took office (nbcnews.com)

It's not an embedded link in the article. It's a graph in the article itself.

Did you know that under Biden, the US has had the lowest inflation rate in the G7 since 2021?

I'm not telling you anything new, am I?

    France: 4.9%
    UK: 5.2%
    Germany: 3.7%

Remember when Republicans declared that a GDP of over 3% proved a President was good?

Remember when Trump declared that stock market records proved a President was a good one ...

sigh .... It's all bull crap from the MAGA crowd.

When the POTUS is a Democrat, 3% is an average performance.

2% for a Republican, like Trump, is breathtaking.

The threshold for success varies according to political ideology....
