Why has America lowered the bar for minorities in America?

It seems that minorities do not need to be taught the simple things that matter in todays society. Simple things like lowering the standard for communication, dress, academic excellence and common respect for other people?

I know I will be accused of racism for a post like this but I will beg to differ. By lowering the expectations of our young people we are NOT helping people rise to better positions in society.

Lets face it... employers want people that can communicate well, dress properly, and respect others.

Low expectations are killing our young people.

What did people expect under an obummer administration, if not the total degradation of our society. Your signature is a tad off....the truth is always 'RIGHT"!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't disagree, depending on what you mean by 'America'.

If you mean the state, then no, if you mean the individuals themselves, then yes.

Academic excellence is going better for minorities than in the past, and dress has had its bar lowered for all

Have you noticed that blacks from Britain speak proper Brittish English when American blacks speak something else? It has to be a lack of education and we are not doing the kids any favors by not teaching them how to speak, dress, and behave in society.

How many kids get jobs with their pants hanging at their knees and not being able to communicate with people from other backgrounds? How many kids get jobs that can not read and write?
