The US deficit will never be reduced... certainly not under dems

    Who else does that, constantly?

Maybe look at Trump and his ordeal over not turning over documents that belong to the US Gov't? Or Jan 6?

Deficit is yearly budgets. He's correct

NO GOP Prez since Ike has lowered the deficits that the previous Prez has handed them, EXCEPT BJ Bill and Obama. The #1 and #2 best conservative Prez since Ike!

Debt hasn't and will not decrease, the goal is to lower the GDP to debt ratio

Is this supposed to contradict something from my post?
    If so, what exactly?

Trump's opposition has been challenged to paste up examples of Trump's lies several times on this forum and it has always been a disappointment for the Trump haters.

You should start a new thread and see if you can do better. :)

It is indeed a disappointment to see a significant minority of the electorate surrender their ability to reason in order to follow a demagogue. The dustbin of history will not be kind to them.

Ever REALLY, wonder why that keeps happening? Clearly it's a plague of stupidity, financed laziness and the attraction to unbelievable promises from the flim-flam politicians..

There is a reason sheep herders have dogs ;)

When you say demagogue I always equate it to Party affiliations.. Pointing to specific individuals is the bait Washington uses to lure your eyes away from the real problem ;)

Why would I want to do that? Here

Trump’s false or misleading claims total 30,573 over 4 years
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...isleading-claims-total-30573-over-four-years/

Trump made 30,573 false or misleading claims as president. Nearly half came in his final year.

Put another way, it took Trump 27 months to reach 10,000 false or misleading claims and another 14 months to reach 20,000. He then exceeded the 30,000 mark less than five months later.

Scroll the timeline below to see how the president’s daily false statements added up to a tsunami of untruths that kept rising during his presidency.

...One hallmark of Trump’s fibs was his willingness to constantly repeat the same claims, no matter how often they had been debunked. One-fifth of his nearly 2,500 claims about the economy was the same falsehood — that he was responsible for creating the greatest economy in U.S. history. After the coronavirus outbreak tanked the economy, he amped up the rhetoric to say he had created the greatest economy in world history. Neither claim is true; under just about every metric, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson and Bill Clinton had more robust economies during their presidencies. Even before the pandemic, Trump’s economy was already faltering because of his trade wars, with the manufacturing sector in a technical recession.

...Nearly 300 times Trump falsely said that he passed the biggest tax cut in history.

Trump’s penchant for repeating false claims is demonstrated by the fact that the Fact Checker database has recorded about 750 instances in which he has repeated a variation of the same claim at least three times.

The Fact Checker also tracked Three- or Four-Pinocchio claims that Trump has said at least 20 times, earning him a Bottomless Pinocchio.

I know why the GOP NEVER cuts spending as they deprive the treasury of monies

    Starve the beast

"Starving the beast" is a political strategy employed by American conservatives to limit government spending by cutting taxes, in order to deprive the federal government of revenue in a deliberate effort to force it to reduce spending.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starv...rover Norquist is a,drown it in the bathtub."

Lobbyist Grover Norquist is a well-known proponent of the strategy and has famously said, "My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub."

Trump's base of support is very provisional. He is frequently booed by his "followers" when they disagree with him.
OTOH, the lock step support for Biden fans has been astonishing even after obvious flaws and lies are exposed.

    LMAOROG? You serious?

Come on, what are you on?

"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" Trump remarked at a campaign stop at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. "It's, like, incredible."

There could be many very good reasons to shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue.
    Surely you know that. Right?

The Washington Post is not a credible source. It has a long history of publishing false or misleading claims.

“Among the many debunked claims Millian alleged was that Russian security services possessed a tape of Donald Trump in a Moscow hotel room with prostitutes who were urinating on a bed where then-President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama had previously stayed.

Earlier this week, prominent press critic with the Washington Post Erik Wemple warned media outlets that they face a “steep journalistic challenge” to back up their initial reporting on the Steele dossier in the wake of Durham’s most recent indictment.

Wimple cited the Washington Post’s reporting directly and urged them — along with several other outlets — to retract the stories.”
THE NEW YORK POST, WaPo walkback: Paper yanks chunks of stories based on discredited Steele dossier,
By Callie Patteson, November 12, 2021.

Have you got a more credible source?

You clearly do not read my posts. I have been a severe critic of DJT, but not for the silly contrived nonsense that his opposition insists on repeating.

Frankly I suspect that much of Trump's most vocal opposition may be on his campaign team. :)

Well I generally support Democratic policies, the ones we generally fund, unlike the GOP

See Dubya's 2 wars, expanded Medicare (Part D) and tax cuts, ALL unfunded

Or Trump's unfunded tax cuts, unfunded walls or DOD expansion
