And they would continue to do so if meth was legalised.

People would not buy from criminals if they could buy over the counter at the store.

Not necessary. If the drugs are decriminalized, the supply will be handled by businesses instead of gangs.

Yes I agree, IF that is what would follow from meth legalisation.

Desoxyn: Side Effects, Interactions, Warnings and More. (msn.com) This is methamphetamine sulfate, and has been legally prescribed since the 60's or before.

    methedrine - Bing images

Methedrine has been legally prescribed for decades too, and is only one or two molecules removed (derived) from methamphetamine. It is easily derived from common chemicals, and 'meth cooks' can produce the stuff in a kitchen

Public discussions often do not distinguish between the two drugs.

You just love not being able to support your positions! First on abortion, and now on drugs! Well done!:roflol:

On many topics, my positions support themselves. But that only applies to an honest and curious mind. There are large amounts of truth in the old saying about horses and water.

You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink. You can lead a man to knowledge, but you cannot make him think.

Yes I agree, IF that is what would follow from meth legalisation. Is your argument that this is what would follow?

You asked if companies would put gangs out of business, and he gave a current example of companies waiting to do so.

Yes I'm sure that Glaxosmithkline, Roche, Pfizer and Moderna would add METH to their list of products, all of which are used for GOOD! :roflol:

If not, anyone that wants to make Pfizer Moderna or Roche profits will add it.
Then again with legalized R&D something better may come out.

"Anyone that wants to make Pfizer Moderna or Roche profits?" You mean the companies themselves?

Why the hell would reputable pharma companies add METH to their list of products?

If something is held Constitutional by the Supreme Court, its no problem.

Wasn't the 'right to abortion' held Constitutional by the Supreme Court?

I'm not sure that was ever said. The Court just never saw it as their business, The recent clarification certainly saw it as not their business.

They found a right to abortion in the Constitution, no?

NO. That's why Dobbs sent the issue to the states. It's not IN the Constitution. "Abortion" isn't mentioned anywhere.

I'm talking about the 1973 court. They found a right to abortion in the Constitution, no?
