https://www.wired.com/story/the-world-might-actually-run-out-of-people/ Seems similar to the Mouse Utopia experiment. I can't say I buy it. Unlike mice, human beings can see and judge the world around them and adjust accordingly. Do you think the world is headed for a population explosion? Extinction from choice not to procreate enough? Personally? It will be something in between. With the aid of technology, Humanity will be able to produce the amount of children they think they want. Your thoughts?
It's what happens when there aren't enough wars. They're nature's way of keeping down burgeoning populations.
Technology and women's liberation seems to change that. Women go from having 6 kids as a norm, to having fewer than replacement of 2.3. How fast is this change coming? My favorite part of that article regards the guy meeting with women in a New Deli ghetto. There are strange lights under the ladies skirts. He comes to realize the lights are smart phone screens turning on as texts come in. In a ghetto.
Thats already happening. .the dummies are sitting home, getting high and breeding while the "smart" folk are constantly working to support them

Populations are declining all over the world, male sperm viability has decreased dramatically in the past 30 years.Japan has more over 65 than under 18 and we are also approaching this.Russian population is declining rapidly.
And yet, the total populations of countries like the U.S.A., France, U.K. keep on increasing. Actually, come to think of it, are Third World countries actually decreasing? I don't think they are.
Loved the opening. The trailer park dude is banging everything that moves while the "smart " guy dies of a heart attack while masturbating into a cup to artificially impregnate a wife I presume is frigid. Personally? I think we're headed to more of a "Brave New World" "1984" crossover on steroids. Men will find sex alternatives to real women. https://www.zdnet.com/article/robot...t-sex-with-machines-is-a-foregone-conclusion/ I think it possible that robots will replace the needs for services and production. (It's been 20 years since we stopped wondering if/when a computer could beat a chess master at that game). Reproduction can become a function of the state. It is going to get weird.
The breakdown in relations between the sexes leads to many 40 year olds of both genders who would change things if they had another chance.
The disappearance of white people is evidence of a "great replacement". I think it will be more difficult to track a great replacement of non-whites as they will be replaced with other non-whites. But our culture, as it is currently configured, is replacing its native population. Jeb! himself spoke of our "demographics problems". Immigration helps mask the issue but this larger issue is, at this time, we are broken. I'm watching this: People, men and women, are being lied to. They're being told that Feminism is just about equality of the sexes. But radical Feminists want to do away with traditional gender roles. Do you think that is what a woman really wants? No more motherhood? No more men paying for dates? The article I linked at the start of this thread actually addresses this. My favorite part is about women in the ghettos of New Deli having smart phones. Technology will change this: in 50 years, there may be no 3rd world. As a nation develops, fertility rates go down.
