Many of us as children way back in the olden days got: measles, mumps, chicken pox, strep throat, and more. We survived all that without vaccines. But our children had to get vaccinated for: measles, mumps, and rubella or they weren’t allowed to attend school. These days when a new version of what amounts to the common cold shows up ~ the entire world shuts down until a vaccination can be derived. This isn’t political or any one person’s fault. It’s the world we ALL now live in. So please everyone lighten up. Love your neighbor. And be a little kinder toward, and patient with, one another these days. We’re all in this together. ALL of us. Contrary to my initial opening post in this thread I do believe now that without a vaccine, the social adjustments we are making in response to the COVID-19 virus are absolutely necessary or the results would not only be significantly more deadly in the USA and worldwide. Thankfully my loved ones and I are well and virus free and without any symptoms at this time. Wishing you and all your loved ones are well and remain well, safe, and Corona-Virus-19 free throughout this trying period in American and world history.

There were seven children in my family, I remember when the mumps came my moms made us all drink from the same glass I don't know if we had the measles then or pox.. But damn straight know I was a strep throat connoisseur, I had that like four times a year, plus swimmers ear and WE ALL had pin worms, "California" from all the agriculture, walnut orchards we all played in.. Take your red pills LOLOL
We didn't have a vaccine for H1N1, swine flu, bird flu etc. either. We didn't succumb to hysteria then.
I am going forward with other engagements and will not be participating much on this forum for a spell. It’s been brief but challenging and fun! And just because I am not participating does not mean I don't have a brilliant answer for you... consider this a reprieve!!! Hah! My loved ones and I are continuing to be well and virus free and without any symptoms at this time. With God’s help, scientific successes, and some time our nation and the world will come through this ordeal.
