It would have to be all things prod rock.

Pick any other genre and I can find at least a few jewels in the swill, but not in that barrel.

Adele maybe has one more album before she fades away. Her lyrics are too Woe Jilted Lover and her 80ish BPM tempos are way too slow to stick around in a 126 BPM market.

That song sort of reminds me of an annoying fly or mosquito buzzing near my ear. Pretty bad, but not Constantinople bad.

Besides all rap and hip hoe music, the worst song is (gasp) Come Together. My son asked me what the song was about. I've been listening to it for 40 years and still don't have a clue.

It is about hooking up for random gay sex. Has to be since everything else about the Beatles is gay too. :hiding:

Didn't the original version end with Stop the War? It goes in with the fallacy that promiscuous people never hurt anyone.

I have generally found that country music especially the pop-country that was played frequently on mainstream country radio since about the mid-1970s to be a form of torture. It's the same dumbing-down process that has happened with other mainstream forms of music, but for some reason, country is probably the most grating.

Really? Didn't seem like music has changed much since the early 1990s to me. My preferred is 1980s and newer, with very few good songs before that (outside of classical music, of course), but would acknowledge that 80s sounds nothing like newer stuff.

This is the claimed meaning - each section is about one of the Beatles.

George, Ringo, John and Paul in that order.
I didn't know Hare Krsnas were holy rollers.
If I ever considered Ono I would have thought Oh No! and are any of them so dumb they were still struggling with addition at age 30?
Did they know a musician with no feet?

This was posted in another thread about Republicans destroying the environment.

As a singer and songwriter I'm always excited to hear others work as unsigned artists... but this I don't even have words to describe!

If you can make it to the end you are a better person than I.

I would have to say what was the worst for me personally was the music we sang in high school choir. We would have 4-5 months to learn a song before we actually performed it and they weren't even challenging so nobody took it seriously. When it finally came time to perform they were just awful.

Some years back, a few of my fellow deities and I stopped off in NYC, specifically to catch the great Alberta Hunter at her regular gig at club called the Cookery in Greenwich Village. Suffice it to say, we were psyched.

After we ordered a few rounds of drinks in celebration of the occasion, the club's manager got up to announce that Ms. Hunter was unable to make tonight's appearance, but that the Cookery was proud to present, in her stead, the singing debut of the wonderful Cybill Shepherd. We were dumbstruck at first, but then, as Ms. Shepherd proceeded to start "singing," we became infuriated. I can tell you that angry deities are not exactly what one wants to see in one's audience. Even by your biblical standards, we were a rough crowd, and heckled her without mercy. As I recall, though, the evening ended pleasantly enough with the manager comping us our drinks and returning the cover charge we paid. So, I guess you can't say it was a total loss.

What did she sing: The theme from Moonlighting?
Do you recall Bruce Willis' singing career?
If she had any vocal capacity they would have done duets in a comedy album.

Run-of-the-mill Tin Pan Alley standards, IIRC. I don't remember any titles, though. We were too busy heckling, and I've already erase any recollection of her actual performance from my memory.
