What? Isn't it a woman's right to kill her baby?
If you read the hunter's remarks, he said they killed mature elephants not an infant as represented in the photo. Either he was lying or someone photo shopped the young elephant into the photo. Knowing that the anti hunting groups will stoop to anything to stir up their ignorant base, I would bet that it was photo shopped.
There are times when younger animals are harvested it is simply because there are too many of them competing for turf and food.
He was lying! Don't you think that his defense would be that the photo was photo shopped otherwise, dur! The desperation from your side to defend him is hilarious
That may be true. However, in this case I don't think it is. In addition, the most troublesome elephants are the young adults not young elephants such as the one in the photo. Generally the ones that are harvested are the ones that are raiding crops or killing other animals on the reserves. Rogue elephants have been known to kill large numbers of rhinos and other rare animals.
It could also be pricing, older elephants with larger tusks cost more, much more to take.
There is nothing to defend, the hunt was legal and justified wildlife management.
What, you agree with him that those two elephants were fully grown female elephants? Where did I say that he carried out an illegal act - try and keep up.
It makes no difference, young or old they can still be hunted.
Where did I say that he carried out an illegal act - try and keep up.
Why, The whole dialogue is childish.
Try and grow up.
Hey at least they weren't clubbing baby seals to death or shooting innocent little mice like Mickey.
If you don't club them, you cab damage the pelt.
It's a woman's right to remove an unwanted growth from her own body, no matter what others may call it.
It's not an unwanted growth when it is a developing human being.
Shouldn't that same woman be allowed to remove an unwanted elephant?
From her own body, very definitely
It's not a human being until it's born.
Totally incorrect, aborting a fetus is actually infanticide.
Yeh, well. You say so, I guess it is.
You can put money on that, I am human, have a heart and truly care about life and would never advocate killing another human being, be they fully developed or not.
Every time someone uses the “a woman can kill anything inside her body” even though she put it there argument I can’t help but think of that old movie Basic Instinct.
Neither would I, And a human being doesn't exist until that human is born, whereupon it's development as a human being begins, before that it's a growth in the mother's body
WAS she wearing panties?
Who, the baby elephant.
I think she lives in my neighborhood.
