I want to recommend Zum soap. This stuff is awesome. It's all natural, they have an incredible selection of different varieties which should please any taste, and your whole house will smell like this soap after showering. I love it. They sell a sampler pack with thin slices of different varieties. http://www.indigowild.com/category/natural-soap/ Here's my favorite so far.
Sounds like a fun thread. Thanks! I think what is necessary is food, toiletries, household cleaning products, and gas. Something I bought recently (having some buyer remorse) is the "Luminess Air System" to apply foundation with a gun. The first time I used it, I got makeup all over my clothes. They made it look easy but it takes practice. It cost me almost $200.00. They don't advertise in the infomercial that you still need mineral powder. Mineral powder is what I have been using. They claim a flawless look. Umm, yes maybe if you're under 40!! I am practicing with it and have 60 days to return it. I called their customer service and told them I went to their website and saw how much more you really need to complete the total look. I am putting more makeup on my face then I did before. I decided today to use it very sparingly and use the "Sheer Cover" mineral powders that are much more expensive than the powders in the stores. On a good note, I purchased a 1600 psi, pressure washer that is electric. I got a year warranty and bought another year for a small price. It's perfect for me instead of a gas pressure washer. I used it to clean an awning, my lawn furniture, and my mothers concrete driveway. It had moss on all that I mentioned because it rains too much here. I just got it recently through Montgomery Ward, paid a little more because it's credit but hey, sometimes that's the only way I can afford something I need. The makeup gun is something I wanted. I will probably return it. JF
it's almost risen to chocolate status but I hope not. There are things you think you know about yourself and then something comes along and threatens to change it all http://www.earthbalancenatural.com/product/creamy-coconut-peanut-spread/
I did. But the price is dropping. It is supposed to be double now. But the expert say don't sell it and wait. What happen?
Short-term? Yeah, I see it taking a little dip. That's good for buying, of course. I want to have it for when the USD finally dies as it seems destined to do. At the very least, it's a nice hedge against inflation and one sure-fire way to store up wealth, say for retirement.
Good points! I brought it for when USD dies and hyperinflation too, so I am not going to sell it, wait to that happen, for survival. I am not as optimistic as you to think about retirement, I will think about it if we can go through the next 5 years. Have you heard about the derivative market? I don't understand completely, I hope you do, so you can explain to me in a simple way so I can understand it. It was said that to watch it closely, when the top ready to unplug it will be the day of economic collapse happen.Heard anything like that?
I'd like to recommend the Keurig. The first one we bought crapped out in less than a month. But, the new one is holding up just fine. It's awesome to have the ability to make just one cup of a specific drink, rather than a whole pot or pitcher that will simply go to waste. We have an endless selection of tea and coffee drinks available at the touch of a button, all for less than $200.
I have seen this soap in Whole Foods, often wondered about it but never bought it. I will have to give it a try.
The Hoover carpet cleaner is a good buy. Max Extract® 60 Pressure Pro Carpet Deep Cleaner, the carpet dries in no time and is really clean...
I've seen nutella for years and never thought to check it out. I thought it was some kind of diet food. My sisters and I were discussing hair care products online a few months back. I told them about this "no-poo" http://simplemom.net/how-to-clean-your-hair-without-shampoo/ Not like I was considering it, well, maybe I was. Kind of a 'you know if I could do this..' One of my sisters sent me this. http://www.aubrey-organics.com/ProductInfo/054A.aspx and the conditioner. Love it. My hair isn't nearly as frightening as it has been.
If you've got the money, I would recommend buying a portable or stand-by electrical generator for your home.
You might try finding your shampoo here..http://www.luckyvitamin.com/m-120-aubrey-organics I buy a lot of my soaps and shampoos from them.
Ryobi noise cancelling headphones. I love them. I've used them for everything from shooting, to operating noisy equipment, to vacuuming the house (I hate the way a vacuum sounds). The coolest thing about them, is that they only cancel damaging noise. You can go to the gun range, turn them on, fire rounds, and have a crystal clear conversation at the same time. They also have a jack for an mp3 player.
Glad you like it! We've basically resigned ourselves to buying ZUM sample packs as our main soap source.
BUY? I almost forgot the concept. Back in 2007 some guy went around promising "Change"... he didn't lie; that's ALL I got let. Right now it's a quarter, two dimes and a Canadian Penny. Any suggestions what I could BUY?
This is another purchase which has proven to be well worth the money. It's the Black and Decker Power Scrubber. I've cleaned all manner of things with it. Cars, vinyl siding, floors... It's efficient and takes a lot of the labor out of such tasks. A single charged battery is enough to thoroughly clean my SUV and my girlfriends car, which is pretty respectable for a battery operated tool.
