Islam is of course NOT a religion, and violates the Supremacy Clause. The first amendment does not apply here.

The Supreme Court upheld Islam as a religion, protected by the first amendment. The supremacy clause deals with federal law trumping state law. It's moronic to claim it bans a religion.

 

I know lots of people harmed by Muslims >> Lina Morales, Thomas Klocek, Michael Graham, Lee Rigby, Theodore Van Gogh, Phil Alden Robinson, all the producers and viewers of the movie Sum of All Fears, Paramount Pictures, producers of Jyllands Posten, Kurt Westergaard, 2 Danish cartoonists received death threats, numerous other journalists forced to go into hiding, Major Stephen Coughlin, Juan Williams, Steven Emerson, etc, etc. All the people killed by marauding, maniacal Muslims for 1400 years (270 million), victims of the 9-11 attack, victims of the Fort Hood attack, victims of the USS Cole attack, victims of the US embassy attacks in Africa, victims of attacks in Spain, UK, et al places victims, victims, victims.

Sure the Supremacy Clause deals with federal law trumping state law. That doesn't mean that that's all it does. It clearly deals with entities (like Islam) that would demand supremacy over the Constitution).

Yes, that's all it does. It has nothing to do with the religion of Islam. It is protected by the first amendment, just like Christianity, Judaism, satanism, and every other religion.

Two things- once again Webster defines Islam as a religion. You keep using Webster to support what you want, and ignore Webster when it doesn't- that is called hypocrisy.

No matter how much you want the world to accept your definition of Islam, Webster- who you rely upon as an authority- says Islam is a religion.

Islam is the religious faith of over a billion people. You and I may not approve of everything that they believe, but it is indeed a religion, and it is indeed protected by our Constitution.

If it isn't, then no religion is safe.

Secondly, virtually the entire world acknowledges that Islam is a religion- even if they disagree with its tenets. Frankly very few are ignorant enough to claim that Islam is not a religion.

My Constitution doesn't make any such claim.

 

You think it is banned.

Essentially no one else in the entire world agrees with you.
