"Thou shalt not kill"...did you have to be TOLD this?

To be clear, I was raised within a loosely (and libera)l Asian context by eurasians in a western country. I'm uncomfortably familiar with chinese culture, and have lived in asian countries on and off for years.

 

Actually, the Bible says that the law didn't come from God but that it came from angels who gave it to Moses. God didn't have a clue what those angels were doing. But then other passages say that God gave the law to see if people were stupid enough to follow it.
