Sounds like an escalation of the authoritarian nanny state and the economy-killing red tape regulation bureaucracy. We need less government intrusion, not more. Now, having said that, I am assuming that your post is a joke, correct? Neapolitan?
Maryland? It's already a showcased shithole-liberal state, and has been becoming even more so for over 35 years! So, all of the hyperliberal portion of crap shown in the OP? Why couldn't it become reality in such a place...? Proposed addition to the Laws of Physics: "Objects that have already turned to piles of **** tend to remain piles of ****."
This is simply worker and consumer protection. If a business leaves then the government will simply create a similar business in it's place.
I think it sounds shockingly authoritarian, and as such, would not have a chance in hell of getting one elected. The only way one could get into office with such a platform would be via a violent coup that overthrew the government.
...yet still not Communist. That platform could rise to power solely via a violent coup that harshly punished any and all dissent.
I would have to point out that the majority of the proposals listed in the OP are unconstitutional. But then, that' is the hallmark of progressivism these days. Just ask the Democratic presidential ticket. Both Scamala and Tampon have pushed blatantly unconstitutional ideas and policy. Why don't democrats just rip the bandaid off and fly their true marxist authoritarian colors?
None of this is unconstitutional or would be injunctined by federal courts. These fall under the states authority.
That resembles another government model dems usually deny they are trying to create. At least you're honest.
This will be good for the states these businesses and earners will flee to. Ironic that they want to include sales tax in the price to hide their greed.
This is always a good & exciting idea that's long overdue - and every city with a population of 100,000 or more needs it. But I would add personal/family electric VTOL aircraft (great for emergency services too), electric autogyros, electric paragliders, electric watercraft (for cities with rivers, lakes, etc.), subways, monorail, cable cars, people-movers (conveyors), and electric bikes/scooters for use on walkways. If there are to be buses, they should also be electric powered. Personal cars can eventually be phased out of city limits and parked in underground facilities, and operated only beyond city limits. Supplies can be brought into the city via the same underground facilities by trucks & trains. And with this comes the opportunity & space to add a ton of trees to beautify & cool the city. These would make it more convenient for the 'consumer', but I'm not sure they're terribly important. I would prefer to see an easier & more expedient path towards suing companies whose false advertisement provably leads to the financial, physical, or mental harm of the consumer - and then post it on a special website listing companies & successful lawsuits imposed against them (far better than the BBB). Imagine how many lawsuits the vaccine companies would be facing (they would go broke)! It would make companies straighten up their act more. Or simply learn to make your own ice cream (which is easy). I'd like to see the banning of all artificial food additives, including seed oils & "enriched" products, and the removal of toxins (particularly fluoride) from municipal water. It'd be comforting to know that when we eat food, it's going to be 100% real food. A central market(s) where all local farms/ranches can bring their products to the city would be wonderful too. It would encourage higher consumption of these healthier/fresher/in-season foods, and also support local growers/ranchers. And ban toxic pesticides, plastic bags, and plastic bottled water within the city too while you're at it. But good luck fighting the corporations for any of that, or getting the corporate-loving GOP to agree to it. (Sorry if you're a Republican.)
