    Well! Imagine that.

As most conservatives have said here for years, the best place to watch the news is Fox News.

According to Joe Klein, the ridiculous newscasts at CNN and MSNBC just isn't news anymore.

He even gets a good dig in on Sharpton.

Guess even the liberal extremists are starting to realize that what the other cable shows put out, isn't news.

Watch the video. The audience gasp at his notion is priceless.

Wow, when you've lost Joe Klein... he is about as establishment liberal talking points "journalist" as you can get.

It makes me wonder how many staunch liberals watch Fox news in the closet.

Well Joe's out of the closet now. I wonder how this will effect his career?

Klein got tired of CNN's constant reporting of the missing Malaysian airplane (me too) so at 6pm he turns on Fox. At 6:30 he turns off Fox and turns on the network news.

He doesn't like Al Sharpton so he doesn't watch MSNBC for that 1/2 hour.

So Fox has someone watching for 1/2 hour, 6 to 6:30. Good for them!

No wonder Fox is thrilled. They've doubled their ratings for 30 minutes.

The thread title isn't accurate. It should state Joe Klein watches Fox for 1/2 hour.

Really? All three cable stations have hour long shows at 6PM EST. What gives you the idea that he only watches for 1/2 an hour?

Watch the video I posted. He says it within the first 30 seconds.

He used to turn on CNN to watch the news in preparation for the 6:30 network news, but he is tired of all the missing airliner reporting on CNN.

He doesn't like Al Sharpton on MSNBC so he picks the lesser of three evils for 1/2 hour, Fox.

Anyone who thinks Brett Baier news report is anything other than a news report is being willfully stupid. All he does is whip out the latest news stories. At best you can say they pick which stories to run but he isn't putting his opinions into the show until they get to the round table and even then he usually just plays devils advocate. Fox News also has the toughest interviewer of ANY news channel, Chris Wallace who routinely asks tough questions of both Dems and Reps.

Sadly for news you have to go either BBC or just watch the non opinion shows on Fox.

So your assumption is that he only watches the news at 6PM for a half hour because he does it in preparation for the 6:30 network news?

Ever hear of a DVR? In fact most "journalists" watch many hours of television newscasts to compare, especially people like Klein, who does on a few articles each month.

There really is no indication that he ONLY watches FOX for 1/2 an hour, just like there is no indication that he only used to watch Wolf for a half hour.

His video doesn't say he DVRs anything. You're really desperate.

Again, watch the video. He says he would watch CNN for the 1/2 in preparation for the network news. He says it within the first 30 seconds.

I used to watch that hour when Brit Hume was still on. Now I tend to watch Happening Now while I treadmill. I watch CNN late at night while FOX runs repeats.

His video doesn't say he only watches for half an hour either. You are simply suggesting that. He only says he's turning it on FOX at 6PM in preparation for the 6:30 newscast.

Nice derailment attempt, however. I hope it doesn't leave you scarred for life to find out that liberals watch FOX for the news.

    Yes.

One liberal watches Fox for 1/2 hour when CNN is going on about the missing plane and Al Sharpton is on MSNBC.

No wonder the right wing is thrilled.
