    Is this man serious? He couldn't get himself re-elected in Rhode Island neither as a Democrat or a Republican, and now he wants to run for President? What is he playing at? Almost like this loony I know who can never hold a job but keeps on applying for a better one than the last since he has "experience". It's the quality of the work, not just sheer volume.

    He's either delusional or trying to pitch a book.

    Is he any less plausible than Webb and Sanders?

    There are plenty of candidates in every cycle who run, despite having no chance whatsoever of winning. Why in the world did Jim Gilmore run in 2008, for example?

    A real freedom fighter. So what if he switched parties? It's a shame that the current state of American politics leaves no room for those who aren't so easily pigeon-holed into one party or the other for life.

    He has been a governor and a Senator. Hell, he's got more experience than Obama. He's also a Democrat and likes Obama.

    So why is he being a traitor and trying to lose us Dems the 2016 election? My main terror is that Hillary won't run in 2016. As it stands the election is hers, but I don't believe any other Dem can take it as no other Dem has her reputation for toughness and the cachet of the Clinton name. It's sort of like if Roosevelt had come back to life and ran in 1952, he would have easily defeated Eisenhower, but he couldn't, so Eisenhower won.

    IMO he's running for 2020 or 2024, we'll see if Chelsea doesn't become ambitious:wink:
