Then why is the Wuhan Institute of Virology and its research off limits WHO inspectors if the CCP have nothing to hide?
I remember seeing there being a 96.2% match for this virus and one engineered at this lab, I don't remember any virologist saying it's not man made, little lone all of them.

To address the second point first, avoid military confrontation, escalation and arms racing. It is not the time to replicate the Cold War strategy of outspending the Soviet Union on weapons to the extent that their bankruptcy was unavoidable.
As for seduction, that should be relatively easy, and the U.S. is expert at it. The Chinese, culturally, have always been fascinated with family, wealth, luxury and generally living better. Sound familiar? And as they have made such immense social changes in recent generations, they have, as Americans also do, a dis-connect with the past on many levels and an orientation to the new. Finally, we all realize that if we are to survive on this planet it will have to be in unity with each other, not conflict.
If we listen to the old style "hard-liners" and "hawks", we will fail. If we push the Chinese into doing the same, it cannot finish well.

And OTOH there is a damned good reason why Douglas MacArthur said that we must never get involved in a land war in East Asia, and a big memorial in D.C. to remind us if we ever forget.

 

But what proof have you that all those dead are the fault of the Chinese? Just calling it the "Wuhan virus" doesn't prove it came from Wuhan

If we had done what the Chinese were doing at about the same time as the Chinese were doing it, we would have deaths comparable to what the Chinese had and have, which is far, far less than we have now, even though we claim it started there.

 

If the CCP was more transparent and allowed WHO investigators into the meat market they claim as the organic source or the WIV (Wuhan Institute of Virology) where the counter claim is saying it originated from an inorganic orchestrated source, then proving first will be easier, but they're not allowing WHO investigators examine these places so it's an uphill struggle and CCP's decision to deny access to these sites only serve to implicate the CCP further.

 

The USSR were also Communist, when Chernobyl happened, they tried to cover it up and denied anything happened, then days later other countries detected the radiation and the game was over.
Since CCP are Communist and in full control of these sites, they've restricted ground zero from WHO investigators.
There's also other evidence they're covering it up.
