Today, 2407 Americans died from coronavirus... a sad record

That's 400 more deaths than the previous record of April 9.

With 26,000 deaths so far, if the virus kills 1.5% of those infected, the ACTUAL number of infected people is expected to be 1.7 million.

Hell of a sad record. I really feel bad for all those families, many of whom were not with their loved ones when they died.

 

Not only did many die alone, but in appalling conditions, with their lungs full of water and searching for air for several days.

 

Whatever, it's just like common seasonal flu!

 

The worst aspect of this record is the distribution of the deaths.

There are six states which saw at least 100 deaths. There are 11 states which saw at least 50 deaths. The number of States with double digits worth of single day deaths was twenty-five (26 when you count the District of Columbia).

 

Why is that the worst aspect?

 

If only Americans would just STAY THE **** AT HOME.

 

Because it means that instead of there being one or two hotspots in the US, there are dozens.

 

Absolute tragedy. I remain highly skeptical of government in all this, mainly that they will retain some of these measures long term.

They launched the virus. They sent their nationals from Wuhan around the globe, long after they banned internal flights from Wuhan to other cities in China.

 

Considering that most other Western nations are fighting the virus better than the US, blaming China won't make Trump look more competent.

 

The U.S. has the lowest death rate.

 

If there is anyone to blame for this virus, it's China. They launched a global pandemic and kept quiet about it till it was out of control in their nation. Anyone that says otherwise is just lying to themselves. It's ALL on China.

 

This,all of this. If China had immediately closed down all flights not only in Wuhan province but all of Chinese mainland airports(easily could've been done, and was done in the Sars pandemic), it would have saved millions of lives. China didn't respond even as "quickly" as SARS.

I now know we have our own wet markets, in of itself a major tragedy(mainly based in NY it would appear) but China still knew SARS came from the wet markets. It therefore had an INTL obligation. China refuses that INTL obligation.

And this idea that it's just us Nationalists? No. Australians have been talking about taking land back, so have others spoken of their own response. Even if American Nationalists didn't have a voice or a factor, the INTL Community will respond with something.

And what's worse? LIberals in America somehow, do not understand that China does not, has not and never will care for the prosperity, well being or the health of the United States or the world.

This isn't the first time, my fellow Americans. Remember the lead recall? MILLIONS of barbie dolls. Literally MILLIONS of our young daughters targeted with poison.

You can blame Trump, and sure put the pro-Chinese puppet BIden in(and yes, he's a senile puppet more incapable than Trump.). But the one core factor hasn't changed Democrats: China STILL doesn't give a ****.

China doesn't want favorable relations, China wants abusive relations. Our relations before were abusive, our relations now are tit-for-tat. You elect the Chinese Puppet, and we'll go back to abusive relations. But yay, you won't see "tarrif" in the news anymore.

 

Better than the US? By what measure? Are you honestly trying to look at raw numbers comparing a nation of 330 million to a nation of 30 million? In order to account for vastly differing sizes of countries pooulations, you need to look at deaths per capita for a true objective measure. By that objective, our performance is near the very best among all western civilized nations.

Did they not tell you about this on MSNBC? Do you lack the ability to rationalize things on your own?
