Can you honestly say that there is a close comparison to the reaction to losing the presidential office? The right tried to game the system as best they could and ended up looking like idiots in the end because they stretched too far. The moderate Democrat friends I have are so disenchanted with politics right now because their enemy Trump, has completely control. Meanwhile their political leaders are pulling disappearing acts and their people are causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to their own campus'. It's incredibly embarrassing and I keep hearing about the "groups around the world" who are joining on social media. The rest of the country who actually voted for Trump dont care. I am praying to god this is just the dishevelment of the party before some random new amazing person jumps out of the Democratic party. Like, Mark Cuban all the sudden says F-it, you Democrats still cant get your stuff together so I am going to run in 2020 vs Trump. Wow, man that would be amazing and huge. So far the Democrats have just been looking more and more childish and are justifying Trump. You guys think otherwise because of media and movies but it's not. A HUGE majority of people are getting more and more sick of these antics, it's not working.

You are absolutely correct. The right wanted Obama impeached... as do the left now. Crowing about either is unimportant as there must be legal standing. There are no 'gods', so they don't deserve respect. It would be illogical. We invented 'gods' when we were ignorant and superstitious primitives with little or no understanding of how nature works, and 'gods' were a convenient explanation. If crops failed 'god' was angry and needed the sacrifice of some poor bastard to appease him. If a drought broke 'god' was happy. Some people are still ignorant and superstitious; and that goes for every religion and the thousands of 'gods' they like to invoke as an excuse for their own inadequacy.
Think of the character assassination that's gone on, why would a genius of high caliber want to put themselves in government? Though we need their service, we wouldn't given them the protection needed to make calculated decisions.
