Many top Democrats seemingly are reluctant to speak out on the sudden momentum behind the movement to “defund the police,” as Minneapolis lawmakers announce they have the votes to do just that in their city -- the epicenter of the nation's unrest over the past two weeks following the death of George Floyd.

Here we are with a push by protesters to defund the police departments across the nation as a solution and the libs once again put their cowardice forward to address reality in fear they might offend someone. Politicians worse than any others in our history, to include their assessment of Trump.

Like I said in another thread this word "defund" will be gone forever on search engines as if it never ever was a thought. It's hilarious, just like "believe all women", Trump being "racist" for shutting down China from coming to America. All a shell game for the media and Dems to keep their followers ignorant and fired up enough to vote for a dementia patient.

Minneapolis City Council President Lisa Bender, who has vowed to "dismantle" the police department, is asked who will protect citizens from violent crime without police: “We don't have all the answers..."

She also said when asked who to do you call if your house is broken into and she said those kind of questions come from "a place of privilege". Let that city go, it's done gone stupid....

That's what they want you to think. They no they're they're screwed come November and peach mint failed Russia failed obstruction as failed the tax of Corona have failed and now the democrats have hitched their wagon to defunding the police department and Rioters all over the contrary. They have one hell of a massive PR problem right now

VP Biden will distance himself from this as much as possible. Every time hes questioned on it he'll give some broad remark and then instantly pivot to generic topics on "racism" or "community outreach". The radicals in the lower tiers of the left will be livid but the elevated media attention they're getting right now during the Floyd riots will dry up and once VP Biden needs the news cycles to be all about him. Down ticket races will be the more interesting to watch IMO, it will be super hard for people in all but the most stacked of blue areas to support a notion as asinine as de-funding police.

I don’t see it. I see the nation seeing the same bumbling leadership.

The Dems have rejected disbanding the police, until after the election in November.

Everytime a microphone is stuffed into the face of a politician the question need to be asked, "do you support defunding or dismantling of a cities police department?".
