They hope the Friday "nuancing" will be forgotten by Monday....weekend news will be discussing the kidnapping case or some irrelevant fluff. Listening to Limbaugh coming home from Gotham this afternoon, he said Carney's presser was originally scheduled for 1:45, and at around 2:45 the White House reportedly changed the time to 3:15.....15 minutes after Rush goes off the air. Now, I know the guy's a bit arrogant and full of himself at times, but I sorta agree with his reasons why they may have rescheduled.
So in other words, the Obama administration wants to give the liberal media their marching orders out of earshot of the rest of us.

From what I've seen on TV today, Jay Carney is tripping over himself and spewing the W.H. story line again and again. The one thing I'm happy to see is that the other news agency reporters seem to have perked up and are asking the right questions. We can only confirm that after they post their reports.
If at any point they believe the ship is sinking, every damn one of them will evacuate like Michael Moore's bowels. They'll carry the water unless they see inevitability.
Damned tooting. The original memo contain the positive note that al Qaeda subs were behind the attack. Victoria Nuland was the first (more than likely under orders from Clinton) to voice cautions about the political inferences. Then after 11 variations and cutting the truth from the original memo we got the benign version given to us through Susan Rice. Who sent Ms. Rice out? Was it the White House or Hillary Clinton's State Dept.?
