In my opinion, trickles of anything cannot involve supply side economics due to the central planning usually involved. Consider that if supply side economics supplied us with a Space Race, it really did not trickle about it; but merely lifted those rockets in a similar manner to lifting all boats in the manner of a rising tide. The republicans simply took a label and "ran with it".
