I have had people refuse to fly with me since they are frightened by heights. One time though, a woman changed her mind. And she surprised me so much. Story She taught school. Her husband also taught school. He wanted me to take him up. I said sure, and he brings his wife and child. She got scared. Anyway, it ends up she decided to fly with me so long as she sat up front with her husband in back. She is admiring the beauty of the SF Bay Area when I asked her, how would you like to fly it? I told her not to make any sudden fast moves that I was still in charge. She takes the controls and I am keeping my eye open for other airplanes. She heads at the Golden Gate Bridge. I say, fly over and get to the ocean. She does. She then heads north up the coast and at a point, I told her to head East so we could go over other sites. We ended up her flying it for maybe an hour. She was converted to loving to fly.
