Trump is more concerned about touting the effectiveness of a drug that is questionable over a drug (dexamethasone) that has yielded far more benefits. Whether or not HCQ has benefits is up for debate, but we need to focus on the drugs that have shown to be beneficial in preventing mortality.

Better to continue touting a treatment that no RCT has proven to be effective than admit Trump is incorrect

 

HCQ's effectiveness is not up for debate for the rational minded.

It simply works and is still being used by doctors to great effect today despite the anti science left attacking it.
