This is definitely a campaign finance loophole that needs to be closed.

Now there, right there is the relevant point.

If you are soliciting money, you should be compelled to say exactly what it is going to be spent on.

Oh, but they did! They even called it 'Save America'. They've been constantly warned how a Trump defeat by a corrupt court would kill America, so they pony up every damn time. Over 60% of the contributions come from retirees, and they likely wouldn't be upset to know that they have paid for Melania's hairstylist and a portrait of the couple. He set it up 2 days after the 2020 election.

The classified documents case should be an open/shut slam dunk. The public has already seen enough for a conviction, and I got a strong feeling there is a whole lot we haven't seen.

These 'PACs' are getting ridiculous. Trump isn't the only one to take advantage of the relaxed rules on certain types of PACs. There was a politician in my state that used money from PACs to renovate his house, and many more cases.
Funny thing is, one would think that it would be donors who would complain, but I sense that the Trump donors are ok with how Trump uses their money.
Odd how a multibillionaire (Is he really?) needs to use other's money to pay for his trespasses, but never consider that if Trump will do this, that he won't take advantage of taxpayer money. He will.

It would be if it weren't for the fact that the judge assigned to the case is Trump appointee Aileen Cannon, FSW*

The judge is slow walking the case, it's as obvious as can be. Don't know her motive but it's benefiting Trump.

    Rulings go against Trump

    MAGA: The Courts are biased!

The cry of bias in the court system is just knee jerk reaction from the MAGA crowd every time a court rules against Trump. It's an emotional response not based on any facts, laws or knowledge.

Her motive is to slow roll the case past the 2024 election where, they hope, Trump gets elected and as President, just forces the DOJ to shut the whole thing down.

If they can do that then we just need to get used to saying Supreme Court Justice Aileen Cannon.

You know I actually hope seriously are wrong but she sure appears deep in the tank for Trump. The only other thing is they have dirt on her...both scenarios just as bad.

She has already shown she is in the tank for Trump.

This is not the first time a case involving Trump has been before her.

After the search warrant was issued and more documents were found, Trump sued to stop the FBI from going through the seized documents against him until they had been reviewed by the court and his personal papers had been separated out. Cannon installed a Special Master to go through ALL the documents and determine which ones belonged to Trump and which ones belonged to the government. Problem is she had absolutely no jurisdiction in the case and ruled that she had "equitable jurisdiction". This was appealed to the 11th Circuit that UNANIMOUSLY ruled that she did not have jurisdiction and basically put the kibosh on the whole thing. Their ruling absolutely slammed Judge Cannon for what she did.

DOJ went through all the papers and from that have charged Trump with 31 counts of violation of 18 USC 793(e) and Trump was able to draw Cannon AGAIN to actually oversee the criminal case that resulted from the efforts to recover the documents from Trump. She has already shown she is willing to make stuff up to try and slow down the case against Trump, there is no reason to believe she is treating the criminal case any differently from the Civil one. I believe at some point Smith is going to have no choice but to appeal her actions to the 11th Circuit where AGAIN they are going to slap her like a newborn baby and tell her to do her job...she works for the government, not for Trump.

Absolutely ! The judicial system is biased against criminals. I’m good with that.

When will the Orange Stain apply for welfare and Section 8 housing assistance ?

I have learned that you and the rest of the MAGA crowd don’t believe in due process or even that the 6th Amendment applies to the Orange Stain.

If you did, the trials would be in jury deliberations already.

You haven’t shown it is, just voiced your opinion.

When do his “speedy trial”s start ? Why is the Orange Stain and his MAGA supporters so opposed to due process ? Can’t go to trial unless they can fix the outcome?
