So this submarine story is entirely plausible.

?? All presidents are entitled to daily security briefings. They are not allowed to share. My understanding, though, is he discussed stuff he had stored in his bathrooms and ballrooms.

 

And I reckon there is at least logic to this. Humpty files three patently frivolous motions in three different criminal actions against him to put up a smoke screen over the breach of security Humpty/Pratt.

It's certainly unreasonable to accept it as true at face value. But it is equally unreasonable to outright reject it as false just because you happen to like Trump. The appropriate middle ground is to decide how much credibility this rumor deserves. I say it is about 20% credible because (1) it appears to be anonymous, and (2) I don't think Trump has the wherewithal to speak intelligently about submarines.

 

I could have guessed with a reasonable certainty that at least one nuclear sub, if not more, is stationed within striking distance of North Korea. I would expect the North Koreans, Russians, and Chinese would also know with a 99% certainty that the U.S. has sub(s) patrolling the waters within striking distance of North Korea.

Is this really "sensitive" information? Sounds a lot more like common sense to me.
