So I just heard a rumor from a good friend of mine who is familiar with some of the people on previous Trump campaign that Tim Scott is a legitimate front runner for being Trumps VP.

And i have to say, the more I think about it the more I really like it. I think that would really cement Trumps chance at winning the election.

    What say you?

To be Trump's running mate, you have to agree that licking his boot leather is preferable to obeying the Constitution.

I voted libertarian in 2016. Held my nose & voted for Donnie D***hebag in 2020 - the most reprehensible, steaming pile of dog**** to pollute the White House since Slick Willie. If I spoke about their wives the same way DD has trashed so many of the women who've crossed his path, Trumpsters would feed me my front teeth. And I'd have it coming. But how dare you criticize Dear Leader for wiping his a$$ with the same standards of conduct everyone else abides by!

With the exception of the judiciary - for which I give him enormous credit - there isn't anything he did that wasn't nuked by Dementia Joe in his 1st week. DD never had the balls or the discipline to get policies implemented legislatively - which would have set them in stone - when he had both houses of Congress. Instead it was executive orders: all of them eradicated by rapid strokes of the same pen once they woke DJ up from his nap.

DD has a gift for tapping into populist discontent, but he can't avoid stepping on his own d***. Because he's a reprehensible, steaming pile of dog****. Desantis has shown the ability to mobilize that discontent in to real & substantive policy legislation - without the narcissistic, childish bullyboy bs - while in a reliably purple state he just barely won against a guy who was busted (literally) snorting cocaine off a gay hooker's a$$. DD needs to get back to what he does best: cheating on his wives & bragging about it to his drooling sycophants; & leave the real, hard work to the grownups.

Personally, I'm not a Trump fan and I am a Tim Scott fan. Tim Scott is a moderate who would like to bridge the divide between democrats and Republicans. I hope Tim Scott wins the nomination. I'd like to believe that Tim Scott would not consider being Trump's VP.

In what ways did Trump NOT obey the Constitution? Just because he tried to explore possible loopholes in vague language, which even Democrats have acknowledged is vague language? And yet Democrats claim the Constitution says that women have the right to terminate their pregnancies. Now that is indeed vague language. In one case you want to deny Trump interpreting vague language in the Constitution but in another case you demand vague language be accepted in your cause.

In many ways, but the most important one for me right now is the part where he tried to overthrow our elections and install himself as an unelected dictator. The Constitution is not "vague" about the role of the VP and Congress. The VP opens the EC votes and Congress counts them. That's the extent of it in the Constitution.

That is just your biased opinion. And, the Constitution IS vague on this subject. Why else would democrats themselves be trying to reform the Electoral Count Act? Because it is vague.

That's just basic literacy. You should read the Constitution one day. It isn't long. If you had the intellectual integrity and honesty to do so, you'd see that the role of the VP is to open the EC votes and the role of Congress is to count those votes. If this is surprising to you, I can point you to many junior high students who were already aware of this.

Clarence Thomas is higher up. Ben Carson was a cabinet Secretary. Quit projecting democrat racism on to the GOP. I would vote for Carson or Scott for President. I already did vote for Carson in the 2016 GOP primary in my state.

Why would democrats themselves be trying to reform the electoral count act if it hadn't been vague? There would be no need to reform it if it were so cut and dry. Both parties try to take advantage of loop holes.

I thought you were talking about the Constitution? Weird that you now flee in terror of that subject. But white flag accepted. It's clear that's a topic you will never have the honesty or integrity to discuss. So we move the goal posts to the ECA. Neat. Fine. What does the ECA have to say about legitimate, legal EC votes? What is required for an EC vote to be a legitimate, legal EC vote?

Tim Scott is a great person and senator, but pulling in the S. Carolina vote for Trump is a big ho hum. Mike Lee would make a good VP but Utah is about like S.Carolina. Gov. Abbott of TX would be a great VP and more sedate and not a real competitor of Trump (if that matters). Gov. DeSantis would make a great VP but is more competitive with Trump and more independent. A great firebrand from a swing state would be Rep. Jim Jordon, Ohio. Just off the top of my head.

How did he violate the Constitution, without just giving your opinion? How about the facts? You guys used to love to talk about facts. Now it is just opinions and innuendos.

He pressured Pence to violate the Constitution. He pressured others to do the same. Follow?

I'm not sure what you mean. Are YOU saying that Trump and Clarence Thomas had cocaine fueled orgies or not? This doesn't have anything to do with anyone else. My apologies if you were standing up for Trump and Thomas from unfounded accusations. Are you defending them?
