Really sad how Trump associates with people who make such violent threats.

First Steve Bannon and then this guy.

So. You find nothing wrong with saying "Trump campaign attorney calls for opponent to be murdered",? Not even close to true.

He either doesn't truly get it or he's trolling.

‘Gone Too Far’: GA Election Official Torches Trump, GOP Sens For Silence On Death Threats
Much like Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensberger, his aide Gabriel Sterling is fed up with President Trump and the battleground state’s two Republican senators — Sens. David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), whose runoff elections in January will determine the balance of the Senate — for failing to condemn death threats of violence against election officials and workers.

Sterling came out swinging as he kicked off his fiery press conference Tuesday afternoon by saying he would do his “best to keep it together, because it has all gone too far.”

What's not true? He made the statements. How is that even in question?

You don't find anything strange about asking someone to murder a person by being "drawn and quartered". To do it properly, you would need four horses and four riders. And then after he is drawn and quartered, they should take his body parts out at dawn and shot?

How can anyone take such a comment seriously? If he truly wanted him murdered, why would he request be done by a method which requires four horses and at least four men. The OP's reaction to the comment is more outrageous than the comment itself.

I find it more strange that you are harping about the method of murder. You conveniently left out the part about "taken out at dawn and shot." That certainly can be done without the hoopla of getting four horses and horsemen.

And, why is it that we, the people, are supposed to dismiss every random comment as a "joke" or "not serious"? Why are these people making inappropriate comments in public in the first place? Why do they get a pass? Anybody else making that kind of statement at work would be reprimanded, if not fired.

    I agree....that is very odd.
Whether it was a serious comment or not...the point many are missing is something like this shouldn't be said publicly in the first place. It's funny, these same people get all upset and run to the mods when someone "insults" them, but a person stating someone suggesting a person should be shot is apparently no big deal and just good fun.

    Are you purposely misquoting him?

Where does it say that he said "they should take his body parts out at dawn and shot."? Punctuation matters.

Well, if they are going to draw and quarter him first, that is all they would have to take out at dawn and shoot.

Are you just interested in arguing for the sake of arguing? He didn't say "first do this and then do that". And, it doesn't matter what order he put it in. It was still inappropriate, joking or not.

Don't you think it would be a bit pointless to get four horses and four riders and then draw and quarter a dead body? Either order is absurd. That is why any belief that he was proposing murder is absurd.

What is truly inappropriate is to say he asking someone to murder someone.

Again, for the umpteenth time, you are taking part of his statement and running wild with it.

First of all, horses exist and people that can ride horses exist so it is POSSIBLE for him to be taken to the town square and drawn and quartered. As preposterous as that is, it CAN happen.

Secondly, many people are absolutely convinced that voter fraud happened and they aren't happy about it. Why do you think people in high positions have security guards? It's because SOME people overreact and can cause harm in retaliation.

Let's say he's blowing off steam. He needs to find an bar and drink while grappling with his inner thoughts in silence. It's a problem once he said them out loud.

Be his apologist all day long. It doesn't change the fact that it was wrong, immoral and probably illegal.

I am waiting for one single person on the left to admit that saying "Trump campaign attorney calls for opponent to be murdered" is not a reasonable interpretation of what he said.

The worst in both sides was there before Trump. He is a symptom, not a cause.

Why does your interpretation supersede anybody else's? He made a threat. Where's the question?

No, liberals actually set things on fire, loot stores and shoot people under the banner of peaceful protest.

People sometimes get kidnapped. I have never heard of anyone being drawn and quartered and then taken out at dawn and shot.

The point with the hyper level of
It does not matter if de Genovia
At this stage with the extreme accusations of unsubstantiated fraud with the so called POTUS twittering Schiest at anyone who is not kissing his butt the emotions of his ardent supporters are so on steroids that even if de Gevonia was joking it very likely will not sound like a joke to the supporters of the Trumpocity. So do you think that when I say " so called POTUS ". or the. " Trumpocity" that I am joking or being sarcastic?
