Yes, it is. Standard ad hominems by political partisans.

Still, that's part of why politicizing every activity, be it music, Hollywood or sports, only ramps up emotions, not solves problems.

Well, I saw multiple reports the team was unified in not wanting to go.

Even if 25% wanted to go, that's not enough. Either show up as a group or not at all. Spoiled bastards.

25% would be slightly more than 10 players

But hardly enough to win a Superbowl with

That isn't true either. About 20% of the team was going to show up.en

If Trump had any class, or any cajones, he would have been gracious about it.

That's what Obama would have done.

He would have had them, spread them out for the photo opp, and either ignored the no shows, or congradulated them in absentia, thereby rising above their pettiness.

But Trump is a little man, with no sense of self deprecation and a very thin skin. He is small minded and peevish, and has no respect or even recognition of the many people who spent their own money to go to Eagles events scheduled in DC around the photo opp.

He didn't just diss a few player. He dissed all sorts of people all around eastern Pennsylvania. But it's all about Trump and his big ego and tiny character.

Agreed on that point. Again, as stated previously, I've mixed feelings on Trump canceling the event because it looked bad, but this entire FUBAR would never have happened if NFL players hadn't politicized their actions on the playing field.

Really? If Obama had any class or cajones he wouldn't have used his office to jump into a minor self-defense case in Florida and seek to prosecute a man who defended himself against an attacker.

Most people know I think Trump is an idiot, but he's not a demon so people who demonize him are even bigger idiots IMHO.

The bottomline here is that by politicizing the sport, the players have brought this on themselves.

i am aware of the trend in trumpland to ignore that which they do not wish to hear or believe.
as for your "ignoring white victims" lame rationale, he wasn't, he was PROTESTING what was going on in black communities, not white communities.

Ah the power of the logical fallacy enabling the justification of ANY position with ease. You seem rather experienced with them,

After thinking more about it ... if 20% wanted to go, I agree. Trump should have handled it with class and had them at the White House. He would have made the Eagles who didn't show up look like asses.

I agree politically with almost all that he does. But he's a classless jerk sometimes.

Yes it is despicable that unarmed people are being murdered by police.

Thanks for confirming that Kaperdick only protests and cares about black victims of police violence.........whereas far more victims are White. Seems like the perfect racist to me.......hope he never plays in the NFL again. He wasn't very good anyway.

I bet you are wrong. Was there a thread on it? Look it up if so, doubt I even posted in it.
So nope, not a racist. Notice you never denied.

Seems like you are also OK with tRUMP taking out ads to bring back execution of innocent people.
Also with being recorded saying how he hates them.
And on record saying he hates them because they are different. How are they different? They are NOT white.

For the record, I'm not a hater, I am against most all violence.
    What say you?

I agree. Life is too short for all the BS people complain about daily.

So what is the real you?
    The post above?
Or your typical partisan ones where everyone on the left is worthless America haters?

    Context and timing.
And then the video saying how he hates them, and wants all of America to hate them.

Then the transcript of how he hates them because they are different.

All that within the context and timing of running his ads.

I never said any such thing.
I said you or whoever wrote the post is against the free speech of black players taking a knee in a peaceful protest.

No gov't involved at all in my post.

Did I use the word infringe anywhere? No, I did not.

Try reading the actual words on the screen you read from.

I merely pointed out you hate when people use free speech for things you disagree with.
You can disagree all you want, no big deal. But everyone must afford those who you disagree with, the right to said free speech.
Were you cheering tRUMP when he called for those players to be fired? Were you hoping for a policy change by the NFL?
If so, you were/are trying to infringe upon their free speech, because you don't like the method.
Now, the NFL, being the employer, can make such policy changes.

Of course, they're the boss. I also wouldn't care if they did nothing. I never watch the anthem on tv and would never know if players stood, sat, sang, ran around or any other action. Nor do I care.

    tRUMP and tRUMPers are not.

The actions of the Eagles not going had nothing to do with politicizing the NA. The players not going said as much.
They didn't want to go, because tRUMP is tRUMP.

Bear in mind that if you saw these reports on Fox, they're probably not true.
