“.......Democrats have made it increasingly obvious that they view the virus as an opportunity to demonize Trump and Republicans and to demand enactment of legislation pushing radical priorities that have nothing to do with helping Americans to deal with the pandemic.

The Democrats’ presumptive presidential nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden, has specifically admitted that he sees “an incredible opportunity to not just dig out of this crisis, but to fundamentally transform the country.”

House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C., also said sees the pandemic as “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”

    And therein lies the problem....”

Democrats went too far in holding the American people hostage to getting their special interests wants met. President Trump rightly called them out on it. He’s meeting needs everyday American people have and exposing the hostage taking democrat political leadership for the villains they really are.

The President is trying to save and protect our great exceptional America while democrats are again out to transform us into a socialist nightmare.

Faux News for people that can't live without fake news...

$200 was an insult. Republicans didn't like the last stimulus package, and didn't want to do another one.

Now, about Trumps weird press conference/campaign event.

That was weird. States have been hammered economically, no way in hell can most cough up another $100 for unemployment. Never happen.

Second, he can't appropriate money, that's a political stunt. If it shames Congress into quickly cutting a deal, that's great. But if Congress doesn't, then it hits the courts and things get messy. Not really a good moment for messy... He can shift money around, but we're talking about a LOT of money. That could last a month or two, before that stops. You see, if he takes money out of social programs, he's robbing Peter to pay Paul. The damage is still there, it's just been shifted around. Kinda don't think he's going to shut down the military... All that before we get to the fact this is would be a new unemployment program, and states are still having trouble dealing with the old one. Getting that up and running would take months, which is too long.

The tax holiday may help workers, but the people that really need it are the unemployed. There are legal questions about this one, as well.

Then there are the real sticking points, like the Post Office. Republicans are screwing the postal service, and Democrats are going to insist on funding what the Constitution says they have to fund. Republicans don't want to appropriate money to help schools deal with the virus.

My first impression is that this is classic Trump. His usual tactic is to say anything to get through the current news cycle. That it can't work isn't important, if it makes him look good that day.
