The protests are fairly small, and thousands of agitators have been arrested, so there is that. The problem is not big enough to require federal government involvement. Local LE can handle it.

I agree, the problem is the universities which are allowing these disruptions. They owe it to the nation to get serious. The marxist revolution continues quietly.

Yes he did. That was a focus? He didn't award it to a bevy of politicians. I don't care if people get awarded medals. I oppose the idea of giving this one to politicians because politicians are the antithesis of freedom. Perhaps there could be a different medal for them.

I dont see any connection to Marxism, but its up to the universities to either allow the protests, or not allow them. Looks like Columbia cancelled commencement ceremony because of it.

I disagree. Allowing mayhem on campus invites more mayhem and, in fact, it did. They have a responsibility to keep peace on their property. Allowing protests is fine but they also allowed trespass, occupation, intimidation and even battery. That is unacceptable. Sorry. The people who run that university wouldn't work for me very long.

Their house, their rules, but from what I read many of them are cracking down on it, and thousands have been arrested.

Their house their incompetent management. Sorry it affects the entire nation. They need to clean house. They should have stopped it when the first tent was erected. The tents are for ousiders, as you know.

it doesn't affect me in any way. If it wasn't in the news I wouldn't even know it was happening, except that I saw some Palestinian flags at the Mormon temple at Salt Lake City last week.

Yes that’s a huge Red Line in my book. Rush Limbaugh was a bombastic blow hard who spread hate and vitriol. For a president of the US to give him any award is reprehensible.

No one hates more than the left, no one. They have hated Trump since the 2016 election, before Trump even took office, eight years of constant hatred.

Trump brought this on. He immediately started with the fake news, alternative facts, a Medal of Freedom for Rush Limbaugh, and personally profiting off policy with China. And much more…

He literally came down the golden escalator (to paid actor "fans") espousing hate. He was espousing hate long before he ever ran. Blaming the left for his hatred is as dumb as it is intellectually dishonest. You also seem to have never met anyone on the right, where hate is overwhelmingly common and has been since the movement existed.
